Beacause if Armaan wins he wont do much, that would bring them together. he will maintain a distance from Ridz,wont express himself much ,he wont tell her to behave like a slave to him,He will infact be cold to her even though he loves her like crazy but already had so much hurt from her that now he will leave her alone.
But
If Ridz win she will tell him to do things that would bring them closer.she will in a way do all those things again that they share in the past.she will behave in a way that would remind him of their old golden days

maybe she tells him to go out for a movie
maybe she asks him for a dance
maybe she takes him to lonavala
maybe she orders him to show her his dimples
maybe she makes aloo paranthas for him
or maybe she protects him from sun shade by stretching her dupatta

I think Ridhima winning makes more sense
what do you guys say?
Plus we all know Armaan cannot see his lady love loosing
so i think he will loose tomorrow
