Yes it was Pallavi who insisted that Esha stay in their house but Raghav should ve searched for another house & made sure that she stays there. If he can find a house for his mom & sis, y cant he find a house for Esha. Reg Sumit he could ve filed a police complaint & claim himself to be the witness for the physical abuse. He has money & clout so he could ve easily locked Sumit up in jail. Instead PH seems 2 ve lost their brains & showing all bakwas like Raghav giving her water etc etc

No PH is not brainless…they are showing exactly what they want to show…they want to show he is conflicted with his reignited love for Esha and guilty for cheating Pallavi…it’s just that the viewers who judge him by his actions can see that he has fallen for Esha again but refuses to accept it coz he doesn’t trust her and is actively cheating Pallavi with his intent and actions whereas going by his empty words he is just feeling guilty…

Unlike other shows they don’t want to show their ML openly indulge in infidelity and EMA…so maintaining a dual perception with his actions vs words…go by his actions he is a cheater go by his words he is guilt ridden husband…but actions speaks louder than words because actions comes with consequences and words carry zero value when not followed up with actions…If i smile and hug a person say I love you and then shoot them point blank, will I get judged for my actions or words!!!!

They are not brainless..they know what they are doing…it’s more like keeping the viewers on the edge and keep them busy judging or may be they are judging us..lol 😂 who knows!!!

Since I binge watched mostly only RaghVI scenes dint know that Kirti spiked Pallavi's drink. Reg abortion I am not against it. I am just pointing out tat in Indian society its frowned upon & Amruta was shown as a woman who has casual relations. There was a scene where Mansi tells Farhad to stay away from Amruta coz she is not into commitments. I am talking about Indian TV shows stereotype of showing women in modern dresses to be evil. I am talking specifically bt affairs, sex etc. That way in lots of Indian soaps the antagonist is MIL who comes in traditional wear but tortures MIL. I am talking about the way modern women are portrayed in Indian telly. A traditional woman can be negative but a modern, working woman is never ever shown as positive. Of course my knowledge of Hindi soaps r limited. I think only show where they showed a modern, working woman in positive light is Ek Duje ke vaaste.

Again I dont want 2 argue with u. I ve come across n # of Indian shows be it Hindi or Tamil & there is definitely an obsession with the FL being virgin. I dont get ur point how does it make a difference if Pallavi had lived with Mandhar as wife for a week. She is still a DIL but considers the family as her own. The essential sentiment & plot remains same. But Mandhar was shown missing immediately on the same day just to reinforce that Pallavi is a virgin.

I am yet to come across a single attractive decent male lead on Indian telly who is normal without being an asshole, borderline psychopath.

Although the serial by itself isn't anything great, I'd say Ranbir Kohli (Kumkum Bhagya on Zee) fits the bill fairly well.

Of course it's an EK show, and his character could still get ruined, but over the last 400+ episodes (I think he's been there for nearly two years now), his characterisation has been surprisingly good. Even chose to leave his family to live separately with his wife (Prachi) when his mother refused to accept her.

The whole Pranbir journey (Prachi Ranbir) has had its cliche parts (being an EK show- jail, hospital, kidnapping are common place), but his character graph and progress has been excellent. One of the few ships where I watch for the ML's characterisation than the FL (and I say this as a male! 😛)

And hence my theory that Indian soaps suck big time 😆 Btw I disagree that Raghav loves Esha. He did feel sorry for her due to her abuse at the hands of her hubby. That's it. Definitely not love!

I don't enjoy sexual harassment stories, especially not to make a man into the hero instead of the woman who stands up for herself. I would not want to see Pallavi break down again. She stood strong when Raghav invaded her personal space repeatedly (yes, his intention was not to molest her sexually, but he still shouldn't have pinned her to a pole and wiped her face, nor reached around her after she refused to let him hook her blouse), and she stood strong against the abortion harassment. Even though I appreciate realism, I watch these daily dramas to escape from unpleasant realities. I would like to see Raghav doing nice things for Pallavi, not just rescuing her from danger.

You are a fan of those 2 shows which ve been running for centuries To each his own. I will take ur word that the ML in those shows are decent & not the typical douche bags shown on Indian telly. For once I want a show where the FL is angry, arrogant & the ML is decent, down to earth. Guess they did try it in Ek Duje ke vaaste.

It would be a welcome change. I am so done with this Angry Young men trope in Indian telly

How about making Pallavi angry and adamant and get a new guy for her absolutely decent, simple and down to earth yet strong minded and strong willed….

To be fair to the PH i think they did show many instances where Pallavi solved her problems herself. Mostly she came up with her own ideas to help her business. I think the only instances where they showed Raghav helping Pallavi was when she was in physical danger. So i think they did ok on that. Reg doing nice things for Pallavi I think v s'd give some credit to Raghav for mending her relationship with the Deshmukhs. Yeah i know he was the 1 who slandered her so he fixed the problem tat he himself created. But he did give her extension for that mall advance. He also hid the truth bt Sulo. It was Pallavi who actually told the truth to the Ds. Remember wat Sulo did to his sister kirti was really horrible but he did move on for Pallavi's sake. He allowed her 2 use his house for making the saris before the competition. He did unfairly help her win the competition 😆 I know Pallavi went all mahan on him but he did help her. So I cant say he has not been nice at all but yeah Pallavi has definitely done more for her. She even took a bullet for him 😲
