I feel there will be some play on the words - that Adi only wanted her to repeat the truth again and did not distrust her. I am trying to see why that line seems key. Is that a trigger for something else or just a way to make Adi look better than directly asking Imlie a question. Imlie herself while leaving was telling Sundar - he still does not trust me and did not come after me.

Seems like Adi will do something that will show that he trusted her and she misunderstood him...this after M PF. They may have a trial period of co-existense. Whatever the MS and sindoor is not a mistake.
