So yeah as you all know working from home has its share of good and bad like everything else...the good being I can take regular MaAn breaks without making lame excuses to run off to the restroomāŗļø
the bad of course is that you still have to work š plus try and get all the mundane chores at home, one such boring job being sorting out bills and stuff.
So, today my partner requested me to call our broadband provider and give them a good blasting for doubling the bill without prior notice cause apparently Iāve been in that kind of a mood lately? got me thinking who else I might have told off for him to come up with that or he probably just said that to butter me up, cheekyš
Anyway so I called them up and right from the get go I was mad, the customer service agent politely listened to me rant like a crazy woman. Now coming to the point..what I said on the call was this:
First of all a sudden increase in the tariff is not what I expected...Iāve been a loyal customer for the last 13 years and what I get is a bill thats double of what weāve been paying so far and that too without enough notice!!!! Iām sure there must be rules to follow when making changes to the contract and you guys just didn't bother emailing or sending me a letter through the post to inform of the ridiculous changes youāve made.
I understand that there will always be an increase in the tariff but not to this extent, this is just silly...I honestly feel cheated and betrayed ...and unless you can renew the contract on acceptable terms, I would like it terminated with immediate effect....

I quickly hung up and wished he never called me back....and also looked around if my partner heard me at all. Thank heavens he didn't cause if he did itād mean endless accounts of leg pulling for the rest of our lives.
