Is Deepika a far better actress than Aishwarya?

What do you guys think?

I feel Deepu is miles ahead of Ash in terms of acting. After Cocktail, Deepika's acting skills improved drastically and I don't think she should be compared to Ash, at least in terms of acting skills.

In the beginning years of her career, she was somewhat on the same level as Ash, but I doubt Ash will ever be able to pull off a Tara, Piku or Malti.

Thoughts???

Overall, yes. Deepika is much better. I cannot imagine Aishwarya doing justice to a Tamasha or Chennai Express the way DP did. But also, DP couldn't match Ash's HDDCS/Devdas with her Leela/Mastani. But again, DP is overall well ahead of Ash in terms of acting ❤️

In the hands of a good director, DP can be tolerable. That's the max she can deliver.

Nope, Ash delivered, HDDCS, Taal, Iruvar and Jeans in just her first three years of her career. Deepika took 6 years to get there.

Deepika tried to ape Ash in SLB films and failed big time.

The only films where she was genuinely good was in Piku and Cocktail. But Aishwarya has way more good performances... Raincoat, Provoked, Jodhaa Akbar, Guru, Kandukondain, to name a few.

Ab DP is a good actress. Aish is a pathetic actress, she can't act. There are many other actresses who can't act and DP is above them.

So the one way to make her seem good kuch samajh nahi aaya.
