There are all kinds of reasons thrown for his selection. All rounder, only Indian who can play in 6th place, the only finisher.... Main reason is the PR that has built him up. If he hadn't been selected there would have been outrage on SM for that

Atleast we got close matches in IPL. Here it's so predictable. You can just watch the toss and whoever wins will most likely going to win.

runs wise this pitch is better

They should had made some changes while watching the 2nd half IPL. Venkatesh Iyer, Sharukh Khan, Gill, Ruturaj have been great hitters. - Compared to these players in 11 squad.
