Anu, I have seen Wagle ki Duniya when it aired in DD. We had Anjan Srivastava and Bharti Achrekar playing the leads, both were phenomenal in the show. Are they still acting in this new version as well? I am sure they must be in their 60s now.

Not only them, I can list about 50 shows that I loved in the late 80s and 90s. All of them were finite weekly shows and you would remember every story line with no saas- bahu drama and they were all of different genre.

Only real middle class show on ITV also ZMGA is sort of middle class story.

Wagle is doing a great job.

What I love is bhashan dekar log nahi sudhar jaate ya phir aache log nahi milte inko life main.

I remember Vandana got cheated for 20k and unlike TMKOC or our Bhabhima and Rishmendra there was no superwoman rather she actually lost money like real people.

They take soo many real topics, execute it superbly and end it amazingly without making anyone mahaan or great. & Never strech a track for more than 3-4 episodes.

Rather r shown humans who make mistakes and learn from it.

That's why it is getting 2nd highest trp on Sab.

Yup they r still there.

They r now playing grandparents and are parents of Rajesh Wagle.

2nd season didn't disappointed.
