Possible. At the same time songs based on the same raga would sound similar. Not that I know about the ragas of these songs, just pointing out that it happens.

Being inspired initially in the career is acceptable.

Originality can be expected with more experience.

I don't know, to be honest. Possibly yes.

But both he and PD have composed their own songs (individually) and released on YT before Idol.

The way aru can sing in any style and sound amazing is wow!!

In the story she has put up she has sung the same lines in high pitch the way PD has sung his portion. And she does a great job there too. Flawless.

I am uninterested in how she looks, acts and dances. I'd rather watch Hema Malini or Vyjayanthimala for that! 😃 I observe from comments that some of the reasons people like the video is exactly for these reasons. So the disrupt is logical.

Singing and music - I feel they made Arunita sing in very low scale and notes - which is extremely difficult thing to do - even very experienced singers will struggle with that. Overall it's a nice song and a good video.
