I absolutely agree with you and this is one of the reasons I primarily fell in love with Virat as a character. Also the reason Sanrat is one of my favourites. I just didn't remember the last time Virat took a stand. So, my reply was more of a shot at the way they are writing story and dialogues for him very selectively rather than me criticising Virat as a whole. Because today, I wished he spoke a word. At least one.

Hey did you remember my comment yesterday in EDT, virat will wonder how much husband he is to Sai and how much not 😆 That is what is shown in the precap.

It is not easy to exert rights, when the other person 'seems' not fully into it. It is only gentlemanly/chivalrous. I am sure he would say friend, and pakhi will lose that trump card too 😛

I really really want him to say husband despite their current dynamics. I'm eager to see them rebuild their relationship with friendship n Virat hopefully keeping PP out of their business but I still want Virat to call Sai HIS wife. That has not changed. He is legally her husband and he needs to endorse that publicly again especially now - because pre accident he gave everyone including Sai the impression that she is inconsequential to his life nowadays. So its important he acknowledges that despite any strain in their dynamic the one standing truth now and for future is that Sairat are life-partners. Theres no meaning to this devi superstition if Virat doesn't acknowledge that Sai is his wife.

I would love too if he says husband. But I am pretty sure he will not. :( I am happy to be proven wrong.

I always look forward to reading all your comments. Thankfully the forum members who loved to get into "wars" and wanted to get all threads exceot their own get shut down by mods; seem to have currently taken a break from the forum.

He did mistakes, and was responsible for what happened today. Sai too was responsible, but his withstanding of Pakhi made her behave that way and her inexperience in these matters made it worser.

Virat is a private person, he is silent for several reasons one including his reluctance to speak about his past with pakhi or allude to it in public. He never stopped Sai from fighting her own battles. Last time he shut up pakhi, rather very harshly was on the birthday night, inspite of Sai disowing him.

Today I felt his hurt more than Sai. He loves her, and realizes it too. He has this constant fear that Sai might not love him back. Now living in separate rooms is painful and shameful for the person for whom this marriage is so important. I feel for him deeply today. But what is love without these tests!!

PS: This is my opinion. Please dont judge me or make this wonderful thread into war zone :). Lets keep this as review thread. Neerja takes so much pain writing it 🤗

Hey Sadhika 😊

Just trying to analyse the whole thing purely from writing/story perspective.

Virat's silence to his family's taunts can be seen as weakness. But I'm still unable to understand why Virat isn't firm with Pakhi. Unlike his family members whom he grew up with, Virat doesn't have any emotional connection with Pakhi. Just imagine, which husband will allow an ex to badmouth his wife? No one will. I can understand the guilt, but now Samrat is back. Virat has done whatever was needed towards Pakhi atleast.

A couple of us were discussing it yesterday - how Virat has been made deliberately mute in face of Pakhi's misbehaviour or clueless in understanding Pakhi's motives or quick to forgiving her misdeeds - all to facilitate the 'love triangle' and keep it relevant. I cannot imagine anyone being like Virat - seems impossible. So his characterization, his flaws in this issue look contrived and illogical. Which is one more reason I'm losing interest in the story.

P.S Could the story have been stretched in any other way, without making Virat so clueless or quiet in face of Pakhi's attacks?

He will either keep quiet or call her friend. He doesn't care how much important it is to take stand for sai as her husband for sai to lead peaceful life in that house. All he cares about is himself. If he is not her husband then he should divorce her legally & keep sai in his house as aai beti. Right now she is fulfilling bahu duties in that house just because she is his wife. When will he grow some spine 🙄.

I hope that even after hesitation briefly due to the brutal reminder of their current status n their strained dynamic he will call Sai as his wife. I'm gonna be really pissed n upset/sad if he says anything else....theres really no use of this while soulmate, bhagwaan hand in Sairat marriage n being together n Devis superstition if Virat doesn't even acknowledge her as wife ....

He definitely loves her but he has failed to make her feel secured.. He does things going out his ways or puts pp in her place but unfortunately the very next moment he would give explanations to her about his actions..Being a private person or non cronfrontational doesn't mean he would let a third person have so much say in his marriage.. Look now he has bore the fruits of it..I do not think virat has learn his lesson yet..His best friend revealed about their sleeping arrangements publicly ..P has pressed weakest button that hurts him the most.. First he needs to understand himself where he stands as Sai's husband not just as a lover..

Agree though both have been dumb in this marriage.. Sai is unable to acknowledge their changing dynamics.. Did that ever cross her mind that after she leaves may be in five and six years Virat will be in his mid thirties yet without any family.. Virat may sacrifice out of his duty but parents would demand an extension of chauhans..

Though today episode was much better than previous episodes filled with so much randomness.. Loved befitting replies by both bk and Sammy.. Wish BK genuinely sees a daughter in Sai rather influenced by some superstition beliefe..

Sai is happy that she got a room for herself where she can put her staff the way she wants.. That room was supposed to hers too but she had to compromise with lot of things.. Sometimes because of the Vahini or sometimes for Virat.. Then again she was missing Virat because the wife in her kicked in😆❤️.. How beautifully that inner turmoil of a married girl was portrayed by Ayesha.. ❤️

Then in SaiRat room Virat was sensing her everywhere.. He kept the doputta as Sai's substitute..😆❤️ Though I agree with Neerja's that she pointed out about lucky Bambo and hair clips.. I couldn't gauge Neil's reaction when he found that Ruby pendent but however I don't think he was smiling.. 😕

According to me he don't have spine to take stand for his loved one's against anyone not only his family members. He kept silent even when pakhi insulted his mother. He takes strong stand only when it costs him. He lost his cool at pakhi infront of everyone after coming from GC, stopped his family by raising his hand. He did all these when he felt he is about to loose sai. Remaining times sai is accessible to him so he don't feel the need to do anything for her. He shows biasedness towards authoritative people & vulnerable people in that house. He don't mind if his whole family disrespects his mother but he will wonder if his mother speaks against them. Same with sai. He gets his raja beta image from that authoritative people. If he went against them for others then he will loose that image. Pakhi stands in authoritative gang. Speaking against pakhi means letting authoritative people in that house to pounce on him as he knows they will support her always. This is my observation. I might be wrong too.
