Samrat was awesome. In response to pp's below the belt remark about Sairat sleeping separately he declared how he also slept in the guest room n asked her to stay in her maryaada in a fairly polite but very firm way. Good job. Virat - this is how you shut the woman up - politely yet without mincing words and publicly too not just in private.
Virat can only speak firmly to pp in private. In public when she says nonsense he is almost always either mute or a paltu.
Sai also gave it back to pp saying - focus on you/Samrat not me/Virat.
But our ACP saab looked upset but didnt say anything to his bff as usual. But its ok, I actually prefered Samerat shutting pp up.....she was like a fish out of water in response to Samrats reaction to her crap.
Samrat needs to be more savage just like today.... he nailed it. I hope he gets sensible dialogues.
And BK has ripped Sonali to shreds today. She was asked to do mirchi peesing on silbatta n do Sai's hisse ka kaam. Sonali was cruel enough to suggest that Sai should help in mahabhoj prep when ahe just got discharged....matlab hadh hai. If you are so obviously stupid n cruel then you deserve the beizzati. And sonali was humiliated by BK today and how! that too publicly. In a sense it was not cool that an elder member of the house was humiliated in front of younger members of the house in this manner. But sonali is an exception. She is SO pathetic that she deserves every bit of this tit for tat almost... sonali definitely had it coming. I just hope bk can do a repeat of this kind of savage takedown of PP too.... that'll be worth watching. Because kishori ji will literally eat up a pathetic actor like pp in such a scene.
But I do want to play devil's advocate too.
They say that if you want to judge a person's character, you should look at how they behave with their juniors/subordinates not their equals/superiors. Bk treats everyone like trash. Everyone serves a purpose. They are all pawns in her game except Sai. And now Sai has been spared because she has some other ulterior interest or maybe shes bored of the fight, she has decided to move on. She herself is guilty of many many ill deeds and taana maaroing to Sai n literally everybody else! Yet she has got a clean chit without ever apologizing for her misdeeeds- whether with Sai or Devi because she is eldest and she decided to call truce and shed a gew crocodile tears aolut thinking of the whole family n taking their responsibility after nagesh chavan death... Full emotional manipulation karke nikal jaati hai. Plus theres the whole maryaadafor her age. So they have whitewashed Bk n also actually ninad far too much. Its difficult to accept them being on Sai's side like this without any real remorse and only because of Devi's random superstition. Its literally like those words from Devi flicked a switch in bk/ninad suddenly. ššš¤·
Omi/Sonali are pathetic but one thing Omi did that not many CN males have done- he tried to take a stand for wife. Unsuccessfully- but he tried. Virat has taken a stand too- but not recently. The last time he did so was a long time ago....
Kehte hai ki bure se bure insaan mein bhi ek chhoti acchai hoti hai. Omi is pathetic and a goon but he keeps his wife Sonali on a pedestal. Apne hi Bahu/bete ke liye toh stand nahi liya aajtak but biwi ke liye bola toh sahi....
But family drama aside latter half of epi was Sairat FBs.
The FBs of Sairat in the rooms was heartbreaking because it reminds us of the good old days....
It was actually very realistic how Sai planned to put aaba's picture in the wall n get a bookshelf n reading lamp and decorate the room her way....she never did exercise such rights on Virats room even though technically it was hers too...it was their bedroom but Sai was always an outsider there. She always lived there like a guest in a hotel. Yet she had beautiful memories there. Its like the kind of hotel that perhaps if one were a business person or in airline industry or something that involves frequent travel- one might frequently go to a hotel so much that it actually becomes kinda homely.
I always had a grouse that Sai didnt even get to hang her aabas photo in that room. Always kept it in her almirah. The least Virat could've done is put up kamal sirs photo there. Kamal Sir meant something to him too....
And todays FBs of Virat would be better if that bamboo plant and some photoframes of Sairat in his room had been shown. They missed out on those small touches. And it was really odd to see him feel happy rather than guilty looking at the pendant in his drawer. Does not look like he realized that she left it because she didn't feel like she had the haq to keep that gift...n also he didn't recall his harsh words when he saw her on his side of the cupboard either. But they tried to make up for it by showing him open the suitcase and take her dupatta as a keepsake for sentimental reasons....what happened to that hairclip of Sai's he used to keep under his pillow?! Pp flung one away but I'm sure Sai had more clips....
Aai's plan is already kinda working- Sairat are already missing each other n recalling their memories in the room. But they are hesitating - each thinking that the other will be happy to have their own space. Sai seemed eager to go to the room to get her bags n a glimpse of Virat sir and Virat said aloud about talking to aai to change her decision but talked himself out of it.....
Precap is kinda interesting. Sonali hasnt learnt her lesson n is spewing venom again- saying hurtful things about being an orphan to Sai n Samrat/Ashwini/bk have all spoken up. Surprisingly this time Virat has too ....but he stops short in precap coz he does not know if he can call himself as Sais husband anymore. This introspection is much needed for him.... I'm interested to see what he says though....will he say I'm her "husband" or not....jaan neh ke liye dekhenge ghkkpm mon-sat! Lol š š š
