KRPKAB season 1 was the first ITV show I watched from start to end, never missed an episode and I am guilty of having watched some episodes more than once. It was such a beautiful show, an amazing story and the chemistry was on fire. The best part about the show was their casting. I have never seen such perfect casting before, like every character knew how to act even Khichusmiley36

I called it when the first episode aired season 3 was a mistake.

Why?

Simply because of the plot. The news of season 3 first made rounds I was expecting the same cast with a fresh story. Dev and Sonakshi already had closure, it was beautiful story that was done and dusted.

When I saw the promo I was slightly disappointed since it wasn't a fresh story but I quite liked the unique concept and went with it. Yet episode after episode it was disappointment. The change in writer seems to have really blown the entire show. Looks like the new one doesn't know how s1 and s2 went.

Literally all characterisations changed.

It is so sad to see potential being wasted. it also looks like the Erica no longer is on good terms with the cv's or the ph.

Her leaving the show is probably the best decision. While I get why her departure is sad... honestly good on her. No FL that practically runs a show should be treated the way she was this season. Her character is the heart and soul, and then treating Erica like a side character is not done.

I'll be honest.. I lost KRPKAB S1 when Dev became a drunkard aashiq not really because he was shown as imperfect but because the promos seemed very different and they didn't deliver what was promised. I picked it up again after the leap but it wasn't the same and I stopped after Ishwari office track.

This season.. episode 1 itself. Baby swap🤢

Honestly, I didn’t have much issues with the baby swap story. Logic died when GKB made sense for the first time in her life by advising a DNA test and everyone opposed it, while it seemed perfectly logical to me.

Also, I loved the whole normalizing marriage counseling track. The homework, the whole “Dev checking the internet for compliments” thing is completely relatable when couples get passed the honeymoon phase. Fabbbbb and could be a groundbreaking idea for ITV. They wrapped it up so suddenly though? Idk why.

I hate the current track, loathe, despise, HATE. It seems like an Ekta Kapoor serial and with all due respect to people who like Balaji content, I can’t believe my eyes & cringe every single time I see Sanjana on screen. Also, what’s with Neha? Ranveer made a cameo and left??? What’s even going on.

They’ve failed Erica, Shaheer & Supriyaji.

For me, it lost it's charm when they aired that Dev gatecrashing Sonakshi's engagement. That was too much for me to digest that how could even that happen. I cannot even watch the marriage with Dev's additional family member's torture. After marriage, it was kind of okay but went worse when Neha's divorce track track started and Prenup & separation are the final nail on the coffin. Though post leap episodes were bit engaging...at some point, it doesn't give any satisfaction as a viewer.

I am so disappointed with this current season. They have literally ruined my favorite characters. When they aired the initial promos I was looking forward to watching it . The moment they introduced Ayush track , I kind of lost interest. Many a times I felt they had not researched enough regarding the characters and the plot that they want to show.

I feel the story lost its charm because most of the times Dev and Sonakshi are not given importance . They are just there and in between to keep the TRP they bring in some romantic moments with no relevance. Dialogues and screen play is not up to the mark. Now with this new lady , she looks more like the lead lady than a side character. .This season they had plenty of topics they could have handled in a beautiful way because they had great actors who could literally live any character.

I started watching this season because I wanted to see a different shade of Devakshi's love. A love that is seen between couples who are married for long time and to top it all , it is at this time that midlife crisis starts . The struggle to balance home, office , children ( nearing teens ), extended family ,during mid life is not an easy one. Its challenging yet funny phase of life and have lots to explore You dont need villian's/antagonist. People themselves enter into an emotional zone that is very difficult to explain. This could have been translated beautifully with a lil bit of humor to bring in "we know what you mean smiles" on the faces of Devakshi lovers....

Sadly what we got to see in the show is serendipity!! ....all I can is "What a pity!!"
