On the handholding he clearly should not have done it, but I think he did it as part of his complete breaking down and desperation over what happened to Sai. I think it is telling his dialogues reinforced this to me, when he said "if you really want to do something for me", but importantly told her to pray with "pure and/or true heart", which signalled to me that he has not forgotten or is not unaware of the hate PK has in her heart for Sai.

Virat holding Patralekha's hands was disgusting. But his legs were jelly before that. He could have even held Vitthal Mane's hand, had he been consoling him. But yeah it was eww

If you think from Virat's side, he was just buying time for her, that she will see Samrat's true nature and may be find love in him. You give chances, and he is giving too many at the cost of his future with Sai. If he does like this, which he does according to KD, first with shruthi and then with Pakhi again, he will have to face the music. Sai does leave him. But that is his karma. For all the love he has or he might have for Sai, he should just have involved her in his social service for women! The guy seriously lacks basic understanding here. I will have to wait and see what forced him to do all this crap 😡 who will ruin their life again and again! And all these are not serious affairs also, then why does he indulge in them.

The amount of domestic abuse she puts Sai through day in and day out she totally deserves it. If you notice, she can't even handle a single question in Zillat and runs away from there since she is always the victim. Where as Sai is forcefully made to stand there and made to endure domestic abuse. Go for it
