This states it so perfectly. Today's youth is the worst generation ever bar none. I'm shocked by the kinds of things my younger cousins post online. And mind you, these are medical students on their way to becoming doctors. They are not stupid, uneducated people. They post constant hatred and bile is always pouring out of them. I see them posting those boycott types posts about whoever they're currently angry with. They won't watch movies (or they claim that) if the actors are from a certain different group. (Trying to avoid banned topics) They rejoice in bad things happening. I left all family groups after an incident when they were all cheering after a certain piece of news about a man dying in an unfortunate accident. Because he was from a different group so good one less of them. That was the day I called it quits.

Wow that's terrible. That they gloated about somebody's death . It hasn't come to that yet but some of the family Whatsapp groups I'm in are just as bad. It breaks my heart because a couple of generations ago there were wonderful people in the family who were far more broad-minded and lived without obsessing over the differences we aren't supposed to mention here.

You're right, education doesn't really have anything to do with it anymore . Crassness and venom seem to be big evenisers. I've heard unbelievably regressive things from highly educated ,well travelled people .
