Actually due to that miscommunication, teju did come off a little wrong..but it could have been solved if only people were patient enough to understand the scenario. But donal obviously did not want the misunderstanding to end since she came off as a victim and teju negative

People when they see teju, she reminds many of jasmin..so they are absolutely sure that her sweet avatar is just a facade. So they are looking for an opportunity where she ll make a mistake. So when they get that,they just jump in and brag that their "assumption" about teju was right...So even if is a miscommunication, they don't care. They won't see the truth
