dats not called showing off, he's a complete preformer n he knows how to get the audience to like him. n its not like he's all show n no content, he's a gr8 singer too.
n he's having fun n making every1 laugh too

I respect your opinion, but I'd like to differ. The part about coming on stage and anchoring and whatnot, that I believe is actually part of the script and these guys play along. I agree that to an extent, they do integrate their own jig, but I don't think it was over done. To me, it was mere play. I liked the interaction btw Vineet and Rahul. The companionship is admirable and I think that in a way it is necessary for them to progress well through this type of show. Of course we have our buddies and stuff, but from what I've noticed, he has usually given genuine reactions and even this time, he critiqued Vineet, albiet in a nice manner. I think he carried it well. I'm not aware of any of his anchoring, but is performance not a part of singing as well... perhaps not the most important, but to a degree. Anyways, just my two cents!... Sorry, I think Queenie Di ne joh Rahul ke jalwon ke baare mein bataya tah... woh rang tohre dikhne lage hain!

Well by right, he has got all the qualities to show off, so why not.. 😉

But no.. he doesn't !! I'd probably be reiterating what everyone else had mentioned ... that rahul is just absolutely confident of himself! And for an artiste, confidence is a must. He is very energetic and gives out very positive vibes. (unlike some other contestants)

BUt most of all, he has an amazing voice, veryy skilled singing coupled with deadly stage presence and he's an all-rounder entertainer.
