I want him to be honest with Sonakshi that there's a girl in my office.. and this is the situation and I am trying to handle it this way.

No more lies.. he did the same in s1 by hiding her reports..

I hope the counselling has some effect on him nd he realises from his past mistakes.

The report thing was awful of him to do, but at least he had a genuine reason. He didn't care whether or not Sonakshi would be able to bear children, he wanted to marry her for who she is, not as the potential mother of his children. He also knew that Sonakshi would never go through with this marriage because of misplaced guilt, knowing that he wanted kids. His mother would never have accepted Sonakshi either. Dev knew all this and just delayed telling her the complete truth to avoid hurting her.

In this situation, he has nothing to gain by hiding this from her. Dev loves her, and would fight the world for her happiness. His universe revolves around her and their family. Sonakshi in fact would be less if he validated her concerns and said clearly that some woman proposed to him.

It makes no sense for him to hide this from her, because she had had her doubts, they have been to counseling and they have made promises to each other never to hide anything, good or bad, just recently.

But flip-flopping has been the theme of the season, so obviously he will hide, even routine he promised the day before he won't do it🙄😐

By hiding not only he is disrespecting Sona, her love, understanding, intelligence & their marriage. It would do more harm than help by hiding. Sona would help in handling this situation. But Dev only knows short term fixes. Not well thought out & communicated with SOna.

If he didn't share anything to Sonakshi, there is no point of counseling sessions and all.

Personally I hate things being kept from me by my partner and I would hate to do that to my partner too. In the case of the reports, those were Sona’s medical reports. About her body! Her health, her future ! How dare anyone attempt to conceal these vital facts pertaining to her own body, in the name of protecting her from getting hurt ? Good intentions be damned …You are doing her an even greater disservice by allowing her to think that things are fine and then one fine day finding out the bitter truth. I hate men who think women can’t handle the truth and hide it from them. It shows their inherent thinking that women are weak.

But I don't think it's men v women here per se. As in I think Dev would do that even if it was a guy he was in love with. Or if he had a brother & he had to protect of from something. That's how Dev was. I think at that point, he was desperate to marry Sonakshi & he was scared she will back out if she knew the truth. Aso knew how his mom is so he just hid it from everyone. Am not saying he is right. Most certainly wrong esp because he let his mom act extremely unreasonable later on when the truth was out & put Sonakshi through so much mental torture just because he couldn't take a stand. Am just saying he hid it not because he thought Sonakshi as a women is weak. He would have done the same thing & messed up the same way even if a guy was involved 😂

Having said that, I can't think of one logical explanation to Dev hiding Sanjana's truth if it plays out that way. You can show conflict and characters doing blunders as long as there is some explanation to that behaviour (like hiding the medical reports). We can argue if it's right or wrong but at least we know why the character did it. Here it really makes no sense why Dev will hide it because Sanjana is literally irrelevant and if the writers have even little understanding about law, they will know she can't claim Soha's custody as her maasi 🙄

Exactly!! And even if she tries to fight him for custody, he's Dev Dixit. He'll sue her, the hospital, the nurse and literally anyone involved. Let her try and take Suhana from him.
