So then I am expecting his wife to be like Bijaan of Deewangi in terms of sophistication. And maybe the couple does not get along because of this...the father doesn't want to get out of his village politics and the mother wishes they could live a better life away from all this negativity.

And maybe that's why the father is also against Danish's character marrying Dur-E's character...ki agar padhi likhi ladki aayi toh ye sab khandaani kaam aur zameen nikal jayegi haath se.
