Its good and expected that Pallavi would be fine and will recover.. but what if she had died? How would he be able to live with the guilt.. I mean it was because of this addiction for money he had as a kid (yes I know the reasons) that he got involved with Krishna Rao and that indirectly led to the murder of his nana and brother.. again, like in case of Abhishek, it wasnt directly him but fact is Laxmi was after him which is why Abhishek came into her radar.. similarly had he not gotten himself involved with Krishna Rao, his father and brother would've been alive... but he didn't learn his lesson even after such a tremendous personal loss...Facing poverty doesn't mean one has to resort to crime and illegal ways of earning money.. Kids from very poor background, whose parents work as house helps and auto-rikshaw drivers study hard and clear civil services exam and get highly paid, respectable govt administrative jobs.. yes not everyone has the potential but there are still ways, legal ways, if you are that passionate about making it big..

I do not. Neither do my parents. And I am sure you all are paying your taxes too 💁🏻‍♀️

It is illegal. Period. 😂

@bold: LOL. I would hope not.

However, businesses especially these 1%ers do commit tax fraud, generally, on the regular. It's illegal, but bc its finance, there's not much to do except get fined and be put into debt to repay. That's why its so "normal". I think thats all MF was really pointing out (at least before - I haven't checked MF out lately). But the story changed from tax evasion to customs evasion to diamond smuggling.

My country's last president was being investigated about this yet still managed to become president for 4 yrs so I can see why people see it as a "not serious" / "everyone does it"/ "whats the big deal" type of crime. But the crime itself has changed so it's all a moot point.

I agree before it was tax evasion.. then customs evasion... & now smuggling. They're being convoluted about what he's actually doing. Tax evasion isn't dangerous - you literally get a letter, get audited, and have to pay your backtaxes.. Customs evasion I think is similar in that way. Smuggling is the most "dangerous" of the 3, but diamond smuggling is also something relatively easy to do bc it's actually really hard to get caught - I legit just googled it LOL and this is what I found:

"Polished stones are effectively untraceable, and the certificates themselves are laughably simple and easily forged, so all that smugglers need to do is get their stones into India’s massive diamond exchange warehouses, mix them with legitimate stuff, borrow KP certificates from legitimately imported goods, and courier the laundered products out to the West as “conflict-free” merchandise."

So the chances of even diamond smuggling being that violent is rare.

They turned the whole crime and situation violent because without this being violent, bc as you said, there was no way to get Raghav to change his ways. Simple tax audits wouldn't be enough to change Raghav - most business men just skirt around the issue of backtaxes and keep it moving.

if anyone is interested in light reading about diamond smuggling 🤓 : https://www.wordswithoutborders.org/article/lets-deal-a-conversation-with-a-diamond-smuggler

This show will make many people walking encyclopaedias😂😂

All I care is how it changes Ragahv Pallavi’s dynamic. And Ragahv should be hella guilty for putting Pallavi through this while she was saying no repeatedly.

Same here... Even I mainly care about Raghav and Pallavi's dynamics. He should definitely be guilty for putting Pallavi through all this when she was repeatedly forbidding him.

I think we have to remember that it wasn't violent until Abhishek. Yes he did gundagari things sometimes, and it was risky to get caught - but his family didn't want him then anyway, so why not play with fire? Who would get burned? Just him and the people who willingly worked with him.

Farhad specifically said what happened with Abhishek never happened before. So people toe lines until the risk becomes too much that they can't take that risk anymore. This is human nature.
