It can be also seen as dhara buying her a gift. Maybe she has done this in the past? It was heavy handed but dhara buying her a pair of earrings isn't some slight against her self respect or connected to her relationship with shiva. It could be simple as dhara the older sister buying raavi a pair of inexpensive earrings she might like lol

I think Raavi considered them as presents only. There wasn't any ehsaan or self respect ka angle in this interaction

I actually liked the scene between Dhara and Raavi today. At least, we got some insight into Raavi's thoughts which doesn't seem like much at this point. I guess she has given up? I understand her pov to a certain extent, but the entire blame seems to be shifting to Shiva which is no bueno according to me.

That day when she said she was never able to understand Shiva, guess she was correct. She said he's weak today and despite not communicating as much, she has indeed grown up with him and seen the way he is. Leave all of their marriage fiasco behind, and she should have been able to see the many attributes that Shiva has but I guess she truly was too engrossed in Dev to ever notice him. Weak is not a word I would ever use to describe Shiva or even begin to associate with him. Is this just dobi Raavi and her unobservant skills in play?

I understand she has abandonment issues, so I was okay with her dialogue right there, but the makers have not built up to it at all btw. (This could've been a great track 😭) It's okay for her to be afraid. But knowing Shiva bachpan se, that had to have some sort of perk, no? Seems like the makers have thrown this golden egg of childhood familiarity into the bin. Anyone who has been around Shiva knows he's not one to run away from his responsibilities, his duties, his work, his relationships. Whatever he gets involved in, he fulfills it puri shiddat se. If only Raavi understood that he's not someone who abandons his loved ones, she would know he would never leave her if it was up to him. Again, I guess you can argue that they never talked and hence she doesn't know. But I really wish they could have utilized their childhood in some way, shape, or form to shed some light on her pov.

On the other hand, Shiva's feelings for her are strong enough to make him leave her for her happiness and this takes guts. He actually likes her so much that he wasn't able to leave her fully himself at first. He did extreme things which eventually sent Raavi on her way. Yes, Shiva initiated a lot of the things, and they may not have been the correct way to handle things, but his intentions are justified. Just wish we got more from Raavi's side. Anything at all about her feelings. It doesn't have to be about love, but anything at all about her current situation in her relationship and what she wants. Makers, kuch toh de do bhai.😔

Anyways, I hope something good happens really soon.😭 ShiVi are stuck in an endless cycle as of now. Ek taraf ki feelings are crystal clear, the other side's is shaded with a veil. Give us some clarity pleaaj!

It was Dhara and Raavi dono ka milakar 100.

Also Dhara wasn't giving money for fees rather giving money for day to day expenses.

Dhara was giving money for the rickshaw and she worried how long raavi could support herself financially Coz she had no right on shivas support anymore.

Thankfully Dhara changed her saree toward the end of the episode.

My mom and grandma fast forward everything except ShiVi. They pause on Dhara for a second to see what saree she is wearing- that’s all lol.

We have a saree discussion after every ITV show episode. Do you all do that as well or is it just the ladies in my family?

The only show for which plot and character discussion happens is the 10pm Mummy Show.

@bold Prema akka, that isn't what I meant at all. I simply wanted to show the possible reason why Raavi behaved the way she does these days, with indifference towards Shiva. In fact, in my personal opinion, this relationship is still redeemable.

I have zero relationship experience, yes. But I am a people watcher, and a pretty decent one at that. A close friend of mine recently went through a very similar situation recently. Her boyfriend pushed her away because he felt he didn't deserve her (played the just let go of me woman card too), things got pretty bitter, she gave up. He had always been the one more emotionally invested in their relationship, and he knew it all along as well. But, when he apologised for the way things turned out, when she got a hint that he'd done it all on purpose, she wanted to give themselves a second chance at things. They talked about it and things are going well so far, much better than the first time around in fact.

I understand where you're coming from with the divorce is probably for the best angle. And I really wouldn't presume to understand relationships as fragile as marriage better than you. But, this is ITV, with a show centred on family values, and I felt that this could be the next best course for the story.

I don't want Shiva's breakdown or NDE to be the reason for them falling in love either. I want a hint from his side, that Raavi sees (not the audience), so that she knows that there is something to fight for. So she tries to understand him better, thereby falling in love with him.
