This show makes zero sense

So first of all, I have been a silent stalker of this forum (not like Sanjana :D) & really enjoyed reading all your PoVs (which are more interesting than the show itself). My question is does this show make any sense right now? This season was about a couple drifting apart due to whatever reason (no context provided there whatsoever) & then rekindling their spark. But now they have made it about the obsession of a random new character who is very badly written? What is the point? Ishwari keeps flipping. Odd day she is nice, even day she is insecure. Dev keeps flipping. Odd day he is dumb & sweet. Even day he is dumb & annoying. Sonakshi cries, says sorry, confronts, then cries again & now she is competing with some random character. The writing is so laughable. It's like they have no conflicts to show because the story got closure after Shubh was born so they are just showing random nonsense until the channel ends the show?

Seeing neha again I can say there was so so much to show. Here's all I think could be shown ofcourse with good writing.

1. Neha - could easily streatvh to 40-50 episodes

2. Riya and her achieving something she was very passionate 20 maybe 30. If her handling kids and her issues all were to be settled maybe.

3. Nikkie and her relationship. Maybe 10-15.

4. If they wanted ayush then maybe dev kills his dad due to accident and has to adopt. Easily 40-50 episodes. Maybe neha develops feelings towards him. Takes him as her own kid. Her dream to be childless but wanting to be a mother to this poor orphan. Another 30.

5. Soha and mishti , golu, shubh , Rita's daughter (where is she lol) etc all growing up doing random things mixed into all this.

6. Asha if alive then asha and bijoy random comedic episodes. Her dealing with book fame. Etc 20.

7. Asha if dead dev and sonakshi dealing with greif. Maybe explain depression. How Dev is clueless and feels helpless not being able to help her. 40 episodes.

8. Saurabh and ronita dealing with asha's death. 10

9. Elina Vicky something, her social media influencer. Not stalker but basically her issues. 20

Honestly like even half of them could make easily 100-200 episodes. Keeping in mind multiple plots move together.

But that would require good writing. So yeah not expecting anything.

There was so much to do

But showing all this needs some effort and brains. It's easier to show stupid baby swap (and wrap it up in one epi with no proper conclusion) and then insert a badly written third angle who randomly becomes obsessed with married male lead. They are the two worst and most boring plots. No wonder it's not getting TRP & even online audience are unhappy

Sonakshi will feel sorry, of course! But if they make her go and apologize to Sanjana, the writers will be facing severe backlash. What the hell. I think Dev will go and apologize on her behalf (I don't want him also to apologize, but he will🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️), but really I don't want Sona to go and apologize to that woman.

You think writers care about backlash? No one is happy with this season. I can bet even the actors are disinterested. They don't really care what fans think. They will show random crap and end it with a happily ever after in the last episode

What doesn't make sense to me AT all is how Sonakshi is with Dev, how does she consider him her life?

What does he do for her except romancing? Why was she still with him after her mother's death fiasco?

I genuinely think she needs to introspect about her relationship with him..think what's wrong with their relationship. The counselling is there for that ..they are slowly covering those topics. But I think she has this unhealthy need to be with him..even at the cost of her own self.

This is not a Dev criticising post but I'm genuinely baffled about the reason. Neither is it all about Ishwari.
