Last time when rani came up with the stupid plan to unite Vikram and Kiara it was not necessary. Also she was interfering in other people's business. Plus if it was meant to be it would have happened eventually without her interfering.

But the case here is different. There is no other way to get their property back. Veer thinks that he can get a job and then a good lawyer and then fight the case. But it is clear that Vijaya will never let Veer get a job.

Also she keeps asking matarani what to do and she is always getting the confirmation that she is doing it right. Unlike last time this is a necessary risk to be taking.

As for the necklace, She had to accept it today because vijya made it seem like it was a innocent gift in exchange for the property they are buying. Also if she had rejected it whole plan may fail.

I personally don't think Veer will overreact this time. But can't say the same about ranisa.
