1&2 Agree that they were in relationship for 7 long years and DD always maintained still maintaining her image in his eyes that she is the person with golden heart but so many incidents happened after his marriage with DD where she showed her true colors ..person a journalist can think and analyze it but here he just ignored all .

3&5. He did wrong with DD first marrying her but once he realized his feelings for Imlie he just not suddenly told her that we are fine now ..he infact thinking for her more than anything but it's DD who made them to believe that she is too wanted to come out of this relationship as per her normal habit pretend goody good and make other people fool ..it would be wrong if he still get stuck to get after realizing that he has feelings for Imlie ..

people feel out of love in so many years of marriage too..

Both BS and DD are hypocrites and selfish and they made Imlie a pure selfless person a punching bag ..in all these only Imlie is suffering who is not at all at fault ..

BS needs to clear his past first including his dimag ..his past baggages affecting Imlie only ..

If he feels that he is the culprit here then just clear it with Imlie that he wants to live with DD because he is wrong and she can go to wherever she wants ..just stop interfering in his matter .. but no he is giving wrong signal here too..hum or Vishwas and all to poor girl who has a habit to fight for justice and go to any level for it ..
