So today's episode was decently paced, but I loved the precap the best. The whole point of this episode was to show how the victim will always blame themselves and how many a time even the family lands up doing that as well, making justice seem moot.
That was exactly what happened when the T family got a notice to appear in court. While none of them wanted to participate in this case, PT and HT talk some sense into them that not going can give them another trip to jail😆. Adi is still not being able to wrap his head around the fact that his best friend who has done so much for him and Imlie, could do such a ghatiya harkat with him. He would rather blame himself and paint himself as a perpetrator, rather than even try to entertain the theory that Imlie is right and that he is the victim in this case. This situation gets aggravated when a crowd comes to the T house on AC's behest to not allow them to reach court. They shouted all accusations that people who either have half knowledge of the situation or are primed to blame the victim as the reason a crime happened. Yahaan toh it was exaggerated by the fact that a man was accusing a woman of taking advantage of him, so that made it even worse according to this very "insaaf mangne wali bheed"
But as usual, it was Imlie's sensibilities to the rescue. She confronts the crowd asking them if they were judges to pass their judgment without any proof or knowledge of the case. She reminds people that where there is a Sita Maiyya, there we also had a Surpanakha in the same story (loved the allegory😆). But mostly I loved how she said that while a crowd had no responsibility because it is nameless, the same way they also have no rights to punish. Before she could go any further, NN comes there to show how amazing she us at handling "Bhed and Bakri" who do not know their place. With a danda she makes sure that the crowd gets a taste of their own medicine🤣. NN was fabulous here, so much that even Adi was worried that she may hit someone🤣.
On the other side we saw Malini today being really worried that finally she may have to pay the price for all the kand she has done all this while. She first tries convincing KC to drop the case, to no avail. The guy openly tells her that he has one-sided love for her, but will not support her in this endeavour of hers. Malini gets all huffy and leaves (so basically feeding into the hail Mary or fake preggers theory even more). Then she tries to convince her father to talk to Imlie to take the case back, under the garb of thinking about the T family ki izzat😆. Malini no kya phati hui hai, and I am liking it😆. DC is again useless here where even if he tries to ask the right questions, it lands again being him not being able to see both his daughters go through pain🤦♀️.
We are finally taken to the court scene where as usual the victim shaming begins again with the opposition lawyer saying about how can anyone believe this stupid case where a guy can be taken advantage of by a woman. Also the crowd delays the T's from reaching court, but KC manages the situation by reminding the judge that in sensitive case like these, the victim is often not allowed to come to court. In sab main my only question again was - is Mitthi back in the C house, as she was in court before the T's came🤦♀️. The proceedings start with HT telling the court that none of the T family remember being drunk that night. Then Adi is called to testify.
Anyway the precap seemed more interesting today, as the lawyer was talking about all the accusations that Adi's character has been getting from all his bashers and trollers. But the best was KC telling him that MC has stopped all divorce proceedings, which stuns Adi. Though my hope is that this may be the start of the end of his disillusionment with his gehri dost, with Adi somewhere you can never tell😆. All I hope is that if not for all, atleast this kickstarts the patrakar's brain to do something about proving the crime that was done with him.
