Something has to be revealed to Adi to make him understand that Imlie was right. Even if his reaction is not as we want and expect (which I think would be the case. Okay. so separation and leap in both scenarios. Then I think people asking for different lead for Imlie will also get their wish fulfilled as normally leap is the time to introduce new heros.

Jo bhi ho Apu ji.. he blamed her today. Things are getting complicated here. They need to show their private convo or at least Adi's monologue about what he thinks, how he is not disregarding Imlie's claims while he denies being the victim, for the audience's sake.

This is getting intolerable because they never spoke to each other about how they feel about this whole thing. Just the convo about withdrawing the case happened. Other than that it was just Imlie saying Adi is the victim and Adi denying it.
