What Virat feels or expects from Sai, no one else feels. Samrat and others dont share what Virat shares with Sai. Husband and wife dynamics are completely different from other relationships. He's faltered in every department be it for his mother, sister, brothers not just husband. What's harsh judgement? He deserves all the hate that comes his way even more infact he gets mollycoddled by a portion of fans & blame is put on others of his own misdeeds. The only reason because he's the so-called ML of the show who's a black spot in the name of male leads of ITV history. Forget everything he's an embarrassment even in his own profession. He's not even a good human being, forget husband or anything. He's always been supportive of the evil people in the show over the good ones. Those who defend his filthy behaviour mostly see from the lens of shipper or fan of the actor. They'll do everything to protect him just for a goddamn ship. His behaviour isn't a mistake it's abuse, toxicity & crimes It's internalized, didn't happen only once in the heat of the moment. He did everything in his senses. Few times? Or its the other way around. He's supported Sai the number of times can be counted very easily with our fingers. Except for education, the day after manhandling lunch drama he's always wronged her. He's a selfish, ungrateful, narcissistic, self-absorbed jerk who is full of himself & only cares about his feelings, emotions haa he's suceeded definitely only in setting bff/devar/ex-lover goals. He's always chosen his ex over his so-called love throughout the show, he'll be doing it during Shruti track too. Virat does the bare minimum for Sai (if you consider throwing grand b'day party, marriage anniversary celebration, gifts, diamond ring, ruby pendant etc. as support then it's okay lol) yet his expectations from her is sky high. The fact that Sai has developed far better bond & connection with all his siblings speaks volumes of what kind of human Sai is & what a trashy person Virat is. Sai sides with the good, victimized people in the show & vice versa whereas Virat sides with the evil almost all the time and vice versa. I don't get why is the romantic interest of a lead is organically always considered the lead? Why it always has to be a pair? The ML & FL not necessarily have gotta be paired romantically? They can have any other bond or equation. It should be normalised.

In the recent track what he did is no less than of a monster. After locking up a his own legally wedded teenage wife, he had no concern, consideration, remorse or guilt, didn't even go to check her even after 10 mins, the dialogue he's said that he'll bring Sai down only when she's needed to sit on Pooja shows he sees & treats her as an object, possession. A good human being will never do that anyone let alone the love of his life. After that he told others to play music, proudly flaunted infront of the entire family for doing this as he's done some great deed & said he did to punish and teach her a lesson? Even today he not only justified himself but refused to give keys when Samrat asked him to give keys. Virat's not even worth called a human being forget male lead. Also his respect for his mentor KJ who's his father-in-law is also a hogwash. He only talks respectfully & uses his name to leave his false good impression or to guilt trip, emotionally blackmail/manipulate Sai by using his name otherwise he's always showed his "exasperated" expression everytime KJ was demeaned by his "ghar ke dil ke bade acche gharwale" the same man who gave up & sacrificed his life, took the bullet for that vile person, Virat Chavan and his daughter's life has turned into a mess, upside down, facing tortures everyday only because of that man. A bottom tier trash.

Virat didn't just fail as a husband, but also as a son, brother, an IPS officer and most importantly as a human being. No decent human being will deny food to a young girl, throw her out at night, manhandle her or lock her up. People even give food and shelter to strangers in need and Virat denied those basic facilities to a girl he swore to protect. I don't understand why people except others to not hate a man like Virat. I feel disgusted by a man like him, who thinks it is ok to lock up a girl to teach her so-called rules of his family.

I try to look at most things in a gender neutral fashion

I don't think she really cares for all the material stuff all that pendant and.ring stuff. What she need is support and emo clarity

Virat has reached to the point only Sai can calm him down.. He isn't going to listen until he gets it..

Wonderful post! I wish there are more neutral people on this forum who can see Sais mistakes. When Sai makes a mistake, they make Virat do a bigger mistake so that cvs can make a bechara out of Sai and Sais mistake can be brushed under the carpet! This is happening in a cycle. And its so boring now!

I hope Sai apologises once in a while for all the arrogance that she has thrown!

I know they will make Virat repent for all his mistakes and criminal acts(!) and somehow try to redeem him. So I will not comment abt Virat's redemption.

Biggest pattern I see is the cycle of emotional abuse on Sai.

Sai is the only one who actually not only abused, but also is punished in the show along with every minor thing she does being blown out of proportion by the family - either by chavans or Virat or Pakhi.

Virat & has been left scottfree and his crimes unpunished.

Like some people pointed out Sai is impulsive, silly, takes stupid decisions, but what she needs is guidance to reflect and shown the right way by a right person.

However what Virat is shown doing is no less than a crime, he needs counselling and anger management classes.

Both of them are true to their character. When tested, Virat falters again and again and thats what is shown.

When I read people saying what Virat does is a mistake, I think people do not even realize that these are called abuse IRL and are punishable offence and that many women and children actually go thru such abuse.

Right!! If Virat claim that he is a gurdian to Sai, he needs to behave as one. He never set down and explained to Sai in a way she could understand. When we take guardianship of someone we are making a commitment to guide them in life, look over them to insure they are secured and safe. Anytime Patralekha or the CN spoke against or bad mouthed Sai, he did not utter a word. But the moment somone be it Shivani or Sai say a word against his dear BF he came to her defence...why? He is not Pakhi ka gurdian.....she is a matured adult she can speak for herself. But no how dare someone say anything to dishonour the MOST SHUSHIL BAHU PAKHI THE GREAT, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON IN THE UNIVERSE.

Even the last episode when Shivani spoke up to Pakhi virat murmur "not again "....why could he not open his mouth when that Pakhi and CN were bad mounting Sai.

DIG needs to strip him of his title as an IPS. He is a terrible human who cannot even protect his wife...how can we trust him to defend others?
