Anupamaa's folly and regressive binds

Why the hell isn't Anupama getting out of that house now? Why the hell does she give a damn about what the Shah's think about her? so what if she has an affair? what if she gets married and moves out?

what does she mean by ghar mein mujhe bohot pyaar mila hai that she couldn't find elsewhere? was her maayka inadequate in any manner??

Why the hell is bending to that Leela?? Why does she care so much about what Toshu thinks? She better listen to Devika and absorb the sense that is being imparted to her.

Anupama had lost her dad early. From the conversation it appears that they struggled financially. Mothers of the type and time of Anupam as equated their upringing to life and may have been a list of dos and don't. She got married early and was vanrajs dadis choice. She must have treated her well as Bapuji. She is a quick learner so baba yaga must have trained her well. Dolly, Sanjay are extremely nice to her. Looks like even till Pakhi arrived there was semblance of normalcy as anupama mentioned once that Vanraj wasvinsistent on a third child. the increasing domestic responsibility kept her busy and his effort at workplace was getting noticed.

The way they break into a song and dance at the slightest chance their customs and tradition of doing stuff together must have made life different. Look at Kinjal and Nandini they yearn to belong to such a family as there must be somethings they do right and a lot that borders on the dysfunctional. Anupama treasures peace at home and her PMA helped her to bounce back.

Maybe in the case of Baba Yaga it is the Stockholm Syndrome. So far her it is her sweet spot and she finds it hard to step out of it.

Absolutely true but this is also true what devika said. Women are always conditioned to think about family and listen to them. They just can't go beyond because of such conditioning. As much as it's easy for us to talk but it's that much difficult to go against family. Women like kavya get ahead in life because they hardly care for anyone.

Anupama's thinking has been confined to this house from the beginning.She never thought of herself. This house was her world. This family meant the most to her.But Anupama never got what she deserved.Never did she get the love of her husband, nor respect from children, nor the status of daughter-in-law from mother-in-law.Anu gave more importance to everyone in her life than herself.

All of them have become so used to that importance that if today Anu wants to do something for herself then nobody cant stand her. Everyone thought that anu is not capable of doing anything, but today seeing his ability Mirchi toh lagege hi ... 🤣🤣

When Anuj congrats her for dance academy she said ye sab mere babuji aur baccho ka kamal hai maine kuch nahi kiya. Anuj bhi samajh gaya kis type ki hai ye total selfless🤣, Aaajkal aise log nahi chalte duniya mein .

Seems like anupama is adopted child of her parents that why she never give any credit to her own parents!

I remember one episode which shows they were poor but her father was extremely supportive for her dance hobby and education unlike Leela and shah family still she gives all the credits to Leela -Hasmukh only!

Today also she did the same and said usko parents se zyada pyar Leela-Hasmukh ne diya hai!

May be they have not disclosed to audiences yet that anupama is adopted child that’s why she gives all the credits to Leela Hasmukh only ! Otherwise her scene of her father was enough to prove that how much he was supportive for her dance and education.

Hi there,

Yeah was busy with the preparations for an exam. Anupama and kinjal are alike, hardly appreciate their own parents and family and even if they do their contributions, affection and sacrifices are apparently inferior to their sasuraal.

Her excuse of bending to Leela is so stupid and unconvincing.
