hahaha as I think of it, I feel Adi is being blackmailed and that would explain his reaction.

And the camera would have nothing happened between Adi and Malini… so she is happy. And Imlie like an idiot, right after watching the footage would have warned MC or AC that she has proof against them and she is going to show it to Adi, giving Malini actually time to blackmail Adi before Imlie could get to him?

though why does Imlie say that Malini can be send to jail? Was a case going on already against Adi? If not, Imlie can say that Malini was lying and she finally has the proof… but she is saying Malini can be send to jail, so I feel some kind of case is going on… or Malini is actually confessing to a drunk Adi all that she did, and that she instigated SK, so this is the “jail” part? Otherwise why would she be mentioning jail out of the blue, specially when Aparna shot it down when Adi mentioned it in the episode.
