It's because he doesn't smoke, nor did he turn towards alcohol. His wife has a major role to play in that. Otherwise, most singers, or filmstars in general, are alcoholics.

Didn't he sing the recreated Cheez Badi song also? That song isn't showing up on the YT channel it was on but Udit sang it really well.

His voice still sounds as beautiful today as it did in the 90s.

Yes, he's one of very few singers whose has not his much voice even in his 60s age. The same thing was confirmed by Jatin (of Jatin-Lalit fame) few days ago on his YT channel. Maintaining his voice for over 3 decades is no joke!! Salute the melody master Udit Narayan.
