I don't know what I feel about Mayank (or his brother for that matter). He was mean to Kirti for her own good? Yeh kaisa logic hain bhai? He played the charade of being married only to teach Kirti a lesson. Fair enough. He was right in a way, and his intentions were noble. Kirti had already made up her mind to give this marriage a chance, knowing well there won't be any love involved. She was ready to settle for bare minimum. So Mayank did a favor to her by presenting her with the harsh realities of the life she had chosen for herself. Kirti would have endured it all if only she had Mayank's support and he knew it. But I wish he could have gone a bit easy on her. More than a lesson, what Kirti needed was a friend at that time. She had absolutely no one to lean on, with her Dadi in hospital, Shruti in Goa(?), Biplab in college and she in Ojha house among the wolves. He could have started the lessons once she had settled down instead of imparting it on day 1. But all's well that ends well. They are not married (that was a good catch Hansa!), and Kirti has decided to travel solo (with a travel partner in another bogie 😆 )
Ravi is another item. I don't think he has completely reformed, but the years in jail have probably made him rethink some of his actions. He probably cares for Radha but he doesn't seem too attached. He also knows that neither him nor his parents are capable of taking care of the kid. He would have probably let Kirti adopt her, but maybe Urmi approached him before he made the decision. When I first read that part, I thought how can Ravi be so careless. He practically sold his child under the pretext of adoption. What if the lady was a fraud? But based on his conversation with Karuna, looks like he is privy to the injustice that was committed against Urmi by his parents & Karuna. Perhaps that's the reason he trusts her over his own parents. I loved the way he showed Karuna her place. I felt so sorry for Kirti with the way Karuna was making her life hell, as if she (Kirti) didn't have enough on her plate.
