@bold-- Yes that was refreshing to see.. and that was also very realistic. PKDH as a show was mostly very realistic (except towards the end which is normal for any indian daily soap ). God I miss the show so much. Those were such amazing days.. I used to watch it religiously and fangirl over PaYa

Gosh! I never could follow the show religiously then but I remember it being a really fresh concept & watching it on & off as much as I could then...when I saw the trailer for BALH2, I was absolutely thrilled...I literally thought they would have a really good hit at the Prime Slot already due to PaYa Fans but am not sure why it hasn't happened yet...Atleast the IF Rank could have also increased to a single digit atleast...Where're all the Fans...Aajao Yaar Sab😳

Aisi doobi hun nostalgia mein that I am re-watching PKDH🤣 day before was watching Adi's questions when he first meets Pankhu🤣

I really loved Adi's character in PKDH. It was so refreshing to see a male lead who is so honest, supportive and chilled out😆 also I used to love how he never judged anyone else for having different pov than him. Pankhu came from a very different background having very different view of relationships and family but he always respected it and was in awe of it and never made fun of it❤️

I hated the ayesha track and then Ayush track I don't consider it part of PKDH🤣

Rest tracks were quite good. But kabhi kabhi I felt there was just too much drama going on especially in the beginning where Pankhu was insulted at the drop of a hat

Other than this I think most of the things were kept quite realistic. I liked how characters of dewan family shaped up over time❤️

Oh even I was rewatching those epis.. Adi's questions were 🤣 he asked to see her high school certificate🤣 gosh those initial tracks were very well written.. I loved Adi's character a lot.. such a refreshing ML. 😳 Plus Avantika was an amazing character.. such a modern MIL .. loved her. ⭐️

I hated those tracks too.. ughh. I remember I was part of the fandom who regularly tweeted and trended #BringBackPankhuri 😐😐 We were just too releived and happy when Pankhuri was brought back with popular demand .. didn't care how illogical it seemed😆 The story really went down the drain with Ayesha track.. but I loved Nakuul's acting at that time.. he portrayed the heartbroken grief stricken Adi very well.. 👍🏼

Yes there was sometimes too much drama and the story was dragged but it did well on trp.. TRP audience loved those dramas 😵

For me best part of the show was the first year and a half.. till their remarriage. Adi's love realisation was one of my favourite sequences the show 😍

But yes as a whole I would rate it higher than many other family dramas on tv. Almost all the primary characters were very nicely shaped up . ❤️❤️

Adi was just hilarious🤣 his questions🤣 and him asking the same settlement questions to every girl just cracked me up🤣 Pankhuri's family's reactions at his attitude was even more epic especially Govardhan mama🤪Adi was such a namuna😆

When I had watched the initial promos of teh show, I had thought lo, ek aur serious, relationship hating ML, but Adi was a surprise package. Turned out to be such a cool person😎 Avantika❤️ she was love❤️

Initially bohot irritate hoti thi usse but eventually she turned out to be such a strong and wonderful character❤️ Actually I loved the Kumars❤️ and their bonding as a whole. Sometimes wished PaYa lived there only😆 of course taking nanu with them😆

I didn't know much about IF or SM during that time and I was shocked they killed off Pankhu🥺 maine beech mein thoda dekhna bhi chod diya, then started seeing after Pankhu came back and as you said couldn't care less about logic🤣 but they kinda ruined Avantika with that Ayush track, so didn't like it and it made zero sense to me

@bold- Agree!! Initial days were the best. Also the way Adi-Pankhu's relationship shaped up as friends was❤️ starting mein I had thought they will get married directly after watching their sweet scenes initially and Adi seemed to like her. But they completely surprised me with breaking off the rishta and making Adi-Pankhu inseparable friends. Loved the phase where she came to Mumbai and they grew so close.

I had kinda lost hopes on Adi realising his love🤣 seeing how thick he was regarding his feelings🤪 thought yeh dosti mein hi dooba rahega hardam🤣 but love realization was beautiful❤️

Yup PKDH was definitely better than most of the family dramas. Much more realistic and logical too. Though sometimes it got frustrating but the scenarios happening, the MUs between families and all were quite realistic

Lol yes I loved Govardhan Mama "chutki bajake" and his DM saab waali jaap 🤣 he was the cause of the initial misunderstandings .. but still the tracks were quite realistic.. Adi not knowing what a "Tilak" is.. and all that confusion leading to breaking of the engagement..

I loved that phase when Pankhu came to Mumbai and stayed at Diwan mansion! That blooming friendship between PaYa was lovely to see ❤️ so refreshing!

Govardhan mama and his dm rants🤣 saara kaand usike wajah se hua tha🤣 he was a bit annoying but funny too😆 though the best part about PKDH was no character was completely black. Everyone had a reason to behave the way they did. Even Sheila's bitterness and anger towards Avantika was understandable even though she was quite irritating😆

Hey everyone!

I just started watching BALH2, just for Nakuul and Disha and yes I was a huge fan and Adi and Pankhuri and PKDH. Its been long since the show aired but I feel it's one of the amazing shows of ITV. I actually watched it again last year and fell in love all over again. Nakuul and Disha have some amazing chemistry and level of comfort between them.

Probably for the first time I'm so thankful to Ekta for bringing back this amazing pair back in screen.

Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see not just Disha and Nakuul but Latika from PKDH here.

Wondering how amazing it would have been if they casted Avantika as Ram's mother here.

Yes that was the best thing.. we didn't have any permanent"vamp" in the show. Sheila mami came close but she had her reasons and even she was a fun character with her "humare Dholpur mein" jaap 😆 also Rubel became positive later in the show.. so basically most problems were solved⭐️

I watched it for about a year.. only for Naks. But I liked NaRbhi chemistry too.. it was hot ❤️ The cast consisted of quite good looking people across the board. The funny elements in the show were actually amazing but yes the story was weak. I don't even remember the story properly.. 😆 it was such a khichdi . I only watch some of the obro scenes and Shivika scenes from time to time .

I am so so thankful to Ekta lol. I almost couldn't believe when I saw the news of NaSha coming back together.. so unexpected and so amazing it is to see them back together!

Tell me about it.. we have Latika too 🤣 and she is positive here which looks a bit weird sometimes.. I feel like any time she will begin plotting against the leads 😆

OMG it would be amazing to have Mansi Salvi (Avantika) as part of the cast ⭐️ that lady is an amazing actress and holds such commanding presence onscreen! I love her. She did a cameo in Ishqbaaaz too once lol.

Let's see this show is already a mini pkdh reunion so we may have chances of seeing Avantika here too 😆
