Season 1-4 is a master piece, up there with breaking bad

Season 8 was horrendous though, as was 6.

The doomsday killer plot in season 6 was interesting imo.

Season 8 overall was really bad though. Didn't feel like a final season at all.

Seems like an excuse for people to enjoy gore, murder and sickening violence cz only killers are getting killed...

Not sure why it has to be an excuse. I would actually like a Dexter or better, be a Dexter if I could to clean up the streets if possible. No shame in saying that. At all.

The show doesn't have too much gore or sickening violence. It mostly happens off screen and is pretty mild imo.

Saw series on the other hand is a real example of gore and sick violence, like it's disturbing on another level, and alot of "innocent people" die in those movies.

Saying it is one thing but living with such a person or being that person is another. Dexter is not someone who kills criminals to serve justice. He just enjoys killing, and it doesn't matter to him if that person is guilty or innocent.

That's just his father's code which he follows to keep himself in control and maintain his cover.

Which is why I’m just saying it. This is a fictional show and my response was hypothetical as well. Anything can happen in fantasy

But the show ended with Dexter in exile so even the show, which is fiction didn't justify his killings.
