Mandar might have gradually shown his true colours but because of the backlash the makers received they hurried the revelation & created this whole mess. As person he could have always been creepy but protrayed himself as a good man in front of Pallavi & his family. Like he did make a mention in front of Pallavi that he used to stalk her. These aspects are not shown clearly in the show, thereby raising more questions. Sharada did mention how Mandar & VD did not get along but now see how it's shown!
