Loved Mondays episode some of my comments below
- episode obviously had a lot of filmy elements mostly from SRK films the way he sensed her at the door (K3G) and the whole palat moment (DDLJ) but I like it. They have been doing this for a while (remember the hand grab from Kuch kuch hota hai) but yesterday was the first time I liked the filmy reference.
- the tea making scene with the flashback to the first time she brought him tea. This whole sequence I loved. I have a lot to say here πNow I donβt know if Vir actually remembered that moment or if it was a flashback just for the audience. Iβd like to believe Vir was remembering that moment it means that it has become a special moment for him Second thing I loved was the progress this shows in Virβs love (they showed Bawariβs progress with the hand kissing - I did a post on this) This showed how the first time he didnβt want to look at her or didnβt even know her name. Now he canβt stop looking at her and has a loving name, Bawari, and showing respect for her (waiting for her to sit first calling her aap). Of course the jungle family moment was cute. It all just looked like family life and domestic bliss.
- I always feel like they rush through PurVir moments like when she was at the door they could have been a bit OTT with this moment. They could have made it more dramatic I felt it needed to be longer. Even after the line while Vir was drinking his chai saying how he is not able to hug or touch his Bawari. I felt like the scene just abruptly ended. They could have shown Dhwani get up to leave and they say bye and Vir does a heartbroken inner monologue and Dhwani as she leaves can also have a monologue of how this feels comfortable to her which is strange. They are not using the opportunities to show their inner thoughts.
Iβll leave it there for now as this turned into a long post and Iβve rambled on for only half the episode
