First thing is first. Pakhi is a sexual harrasser. I'm sorry, but I have to say it. This is not the first time she has forcibly tried to touch Virat. After the recent shirt sniffing scene, she tried to touch him 3 times today, and he told her to stop every single time. Her creepy smile, dialogues such as "‘Tum jahan rakhogey wahan rahoongi", and overall attitude were so incredibly vile and inappropriate. If it were a man acting in the same way, he would be called a predator. But, it seems that because she is a woman and constantly crying, the makers have the audacity to keep calling her a victim. Absolutely unacceptable.
I loved Virat today. No one puts Pakhi in her place like he does. It was clear how annoyed and impatient he was to even be in the cafe with her, but he did it in attempt to save his brother's marriage. He once again made it clear to her that whatever they had ended the day Samrat entered the picture, and it would have been the same even if it were any other guy. He FINALLY admitted that what they had was simply friendship mistaken for something else. It was beautiful how he said that love is what him and Sai have in between them, and not that love is what he feels towards Sai. As of now, he is feeling as if Sai will never love him back, let alone accept this relationship, and yet this dialogue seemed to show that even in his hurt and his pain, he knows that they have a relationship of love, even if in his mind, that is not one of husband wife.
Virat told Sai he is ending all relations with her, and yet, today, he told Pakhi with such force that Sai is his wife and that truth will never change. Again, this shows his heart and mind are at odds. In his heart, he could never even imagine a reality where Sai is not his wife... but, his mind is putting up walls towards Sai in order to protect himself.
I guess some have a problem with him telling Pakhi that he is alive only because of Kamal, and that is why he married Sai. But, I actually thought this entire dialogue was beautiful. He was extremely honest. He said that what started out as a zimidari turned into a real relationship, and he did not even realize when it happened. He said that they have lived an entire year together, and she has supported him at every point. Even though he is shattered, he is still talking so highly about Sai. He is still so in awe of their journey. Every time he was talking about his relationship with Sai today, his face immediately softened.
In terms of him agreeing with Pakhi that Sai will never understand his love... that was not him intentionally "exposing" his personal issues. Pakhi's words reminded him of what has happened between him and Sai. He immediately started crying. The wound is still so fresh and raw for him. He agreed with her in his pain and hurt. He did not even think before agreeing, because in that moment, he was overtaken by all of the emotions he was trying to suppress...
But even in his pain, he immediately told Pakhi not to cross her limit the second she started comparing herself to Sai and talking badly about her. It was just like the KBA scene, but Virat was 10x more forceful this time. He can tolerate all of her psychotic behavior, but he cannot tolerate her degrading Sai.....
Overall a disgusting episode, but Neil was amazing and so were Virat's dialogues.
P.S.-I sincerely hope that Virat tells Samrat about what has happened here and also in the past year for that matter. Samrat does not deserve to be with such a woman. As a brother, Virat owes it to Samrat to save him 😭
