Bill Burr has a similar view about the US. While I don't agree with everything he says. He's right about, people will find "anything" to be outraged about. You can't even call a female, a "she" without confirming it. Can't say "Merry Christmas" etc etc.

Secondly, while the IT Cell is notorious for a lot of things...these trends are by design...from the Bollywood PR themselves. The streaming platform is a tough market with 100s of shows released every year and this might be the only way you will ever be noticed. I doubt Tandav or Aashram would've become big hits without the controversy. They were terrible shows.
Too bad though, not falling for this Nikhil Advani.
No one is stopping Americans from Merry Christmas. There are Christmas decorations and songs everywhere after Halloween in here . This is fear-mongering at best.
