More popular couple?

You don't have to choose your favorite but tell which couple was more popular/had more craze among the audience during their prime.

Raj-Nargis. Have never understood the hype about Srk- Kajol The only movie in which I somewhat liked them was K3G.

I prefer SRK and Juhi to SRK and Kajol.

I personally believe that SRK and Kajol jodi is more popular. DDLJ being the longest running film in cinema can be suggestive that the film is still loved by the audience. I know that Raj and Narges was popular, but I always assumed it was mainly because of the Pyar Hua song,

Raj Nargis was popular because of their films. Media and KJo PR had a lot to do with SRK Kajol.

SRK- Kajol . Because DDLJ ran forever and the characters broke stereotypes. The hero was goofy, but got it together when shit got real. The heroine was hyper but desirable. The father was crazy but feigned sanity for the sake of the climax; let the girl runaway with him even though he probably made the life of the other girl a living hell. . Good music. Foreign locations. Glorifies Desi culture but not before showing wet thighs and a sheer top in the rain . Everyone was happy So 👍👍👍.

Raj and Nargis are my personal favourite. I could watch their songs all day

If SRK-Kajol have DDLJ, Raj Kapoor and Nargis had Awara which too was very influential to future Bollywood movies released.
