I totally understand not wanting to trouble his grandparents.

I did not get it at all, how he will be okay with name change, considering how traumatized he was. On top of that, it would have been very natural for him to blame Sona for not protecting him. Because she had made that promise and also, he didnt have a lot of other interactions with her to understand that she wouldn't have let it happen etc.. Sona was right that he would blame her. Instead, he's all good here and in school, people are referring to him as Ved and he doesn't correct his teacher.

And not complaining about the bullies to Dev-Sona, I can understand, because he had seen how much they fought due to his name-change and doesn't want that to repeat again. Understandable. But not complaining to the teacher about the bullies either, because he doesn't want them punished is ridiculous and definitely not kid behavior. I guess, in this matter he is like Dev, because he is being an enabler too.

these accounts are not managed by kid artists. . they are handled by their parents..
