They won't because apparently the only conflicts that Dev and Sonakshi can really have is either about their parents or their kids . Basically send kids the hostel and Ishu tho teerath yatra and all will be hunky Dory again . Best track is obviously revelation to Suhana by Issue Devi , Sona objecting , Dev Babu saying to Soha aap sirf naam se Verma ho, dil se aap Dixit hain , meri princess and then Suhana being bullied by Golu and Dev babu again running out of the room and popping pills . Garden mein hi make shift bed bana do yaar 😂

Season 1 : Mate-Putra ignored Neha big time and poisoned her with their toxic love for each other. Sona got infatuated with Dev and got sucked in because of his initial charms (good looks, care during her hospital stay), mate-putra started their selfish games with her also (making her wait, ignoring her jhula request and so many more things). to be very frank I think Dev only missed sex that he can't get from anyone else otherwise he kept his selfish behavior throughout. I always say a person's true character comes out only when their is a conflict and he proved over and over again that he does not care about Sona as an individual but as a beautiful doll (trophy) that he possesses.

Season 2: dont remember this very well but for the most part they were trying to fix mate's wrong deeds (with that threatening guy from first season).

Season 3: Ma- beta are back to their old habits. completely ignoring the presence of another human being and sleeping outside nautanki. Even the kids are so mature that they try to adjust to Dev's nautanki. I think sona should just say "Sada kutta kutta thwada kutta tommy" when mata -putra try to come in between her relation ship with her kids. Why does mate compete with her all the time?

In S1 I heard that he turned out to be a Casanova...so it was definitely not only the sex he missed.

Though I can't imagine him as this person who was obsessed with Sonakshi given how he behaves now and how attached he is to his mother till date. I will watch the first two seasons to see that phase... only if they give him a proper redemption in this season.

Also, mate-putra would ideally want beautiful playdough with no voice or wishes of her own. The playdough should be able to reproduce so their vansh keeps going. She also should have some standing in the society (so it looks like a good match for putra's standing in the society instead of a gawanr girl like GKB) but she should keep her mouth shut even if matajee makes decisions for her bedroom (Jhula, clothes closet episode from S1), her kids (S3) etc. For a moment, just replace Shaeer with OM puri or Sadashiv Amrapurkar , Nan Patekar (no offense to them but just do it for a moment here LOL ) and see the same events shown in the 3 seasons. Also, if she got hurt walking with him (S1) and he took her to the hospital or put a band aid on her finger (S3), it does not make him mahan.US mein worker's comp. ke liye sue ho jata. Log toh lavaris kutte ko bhee chot lag jaye to usko dudh roti dete hain aur marham patti karte hain. yahan toh apne recklessely door khola aur baad mei usko ek band aid laga diya.

Yeah maybe but he looks like someone who needs emotional aspect too. He is driven by his emotions... regardless of those being right or wrong. Just like in this season.

I don't remember if the motorcycle/casanova persona was in S1 and S2. What emotional needs? In S1, he did use her when he was going around with Natasha without caring for her emotions at all. Remember how she told Elena that she was going green with jealousy when he used to talk about Natasha. Ek bar shadi ho gayi uske baad lust otherwise throw her like a piece of garbage (make her wait in the middle of the night alone on your birthday because you could not tell your mahan mata that she was waiting for you). Akeli ladaki ko raat mei aise koi nahi wait karata woh bhee Delhi mei. Its OK if you want to change your program and go along with your mom's surprise birthday party lekin usko pehle ghar safely le kar toh aa jao. Also, jab bhee emotional needs hain, ja ke wife ko hug karo, rona dhona karo uske baad mata jee ke sath ho ho ho ho music mei sab time lagao. LOL! Isn't that selfish?

Initially, good looks + his overall caring nature towards his employees (she herself was his employee back then) + All the employees praising Dev Sir for helping them financially in some issue or other + 24x7 Ishwari's continuous jaap how good her raja beta is & how much he sacrificed for everyone + Sonakshi developed bond with Ishwari & Nikki & slowly Dev too started considering her his friend & so it went on + she met an accident & Dev took care of her medical needs.

I think initially she didn't exactly "love" him all that much. She was hero worshipping him...or like someone said, she was infatuated with the glossy cover.

The uncomfortable reality started showing when they started dating. They had arguments over many things....& Ultimately break up because Dev assumed Ishwari tried to commit suicide due to his relation with Sonakshi. He made it very clear that apart from his Mom, no one else mattered to him. I think by this time Sonakshi truly understood him & realised how he is totally under his Mom's control. She was heartbroken & very pissed at him. She refused to marry him when he came jumping back to her after his Mother gave him "permission" to marry Sonakshi. But ultimately Ishwari successfully brainwashed Asha, who in turn scolded Sonakshi into marrying Dev as apparently Dev did nothing wrong & Sonakshi was unnecessarily bitter & vengeful towards him.

After marriage....well....she tried to fix the problematic things..... She tried to simultaneously win over Ishwari + make Dev independent. She tried to teach him stuffs that an adult individual should be doing himself....But well.... Ishwari got offended & started meddling not just in Dev's life but also in Devakshi's bedroom stuffs, their marital life etc & Dev all the time was like Maa yeh chahti hai, Maa yeh bola hai, Maa ke liye ye karna hai etc etc + Maa aur Main sabse alag hai, tum kabhi nahi samjhogi. And if season 3 is anything to go by, that's how it's still going on 🤪

Honestly speaking, I too don't understand why the hell she came back to this psycho house after the 7 years separation. For the first 2 times I think she was just young & gullible.... she was newly in love & thought she could fix all the problems with her love & care... And everyone, including her own mother, expected her to give in, bend & adjust at every freaking step. So she didn't have a supportive guide either.....but after 7 years, experienced & wise from past experience, I don't know why did she sign up for the same crap again.🙄 The 3rd time just doesn't make sense. Especially since Dev didn't even say a proper sorry to her or her family!

Yes, his love is extremely selfish and one way street . And I agree it's not just sex . His emotional dependence on Sona is far more than that on ishwari, because again ishwari's love for Dev is same as Dev's love for Sona . Want unilateral attention and devotion but won't return the same . He's upset that she's not giving him attention but himself makes no effort to notice the stark unhappiness on her face
