I love making the pookalam too...i live in an apartment sooo we put the pookalam together....its fun.. But v put a very traditional pookalam wid flowers from garden only(mainly Rose, hibiscus etc😆) at my Grandma's home... But this year v had a very quiet Onam bcoz of a my dadaji's death...so not much celebration

Yes its soo much fun to celebrate Onam with friends and family....during this tym v used to have so many celebrations in schools,clg and also in offices(to dress up in Kerala saree, pookalam competition, sadya😅)...but since last 2 yrs iam sure everyone has been missing that fun...that normalcy of life
