It was well-written & the moments interweaved with the newfound understandings between them were emotional.

Commendable Job👏

Thanks a lot! I was trying to explore the siblings past as well...

Yeah! They should totally get sunny and keerti married. Let her learn from her mistakes.

The way both Raghav and Pallavi cheered up Keerti was great to see.

Raghav and Keerti reminiscing all their moments especially Keerti remembering how Raghav was always there for her was superb.

Keerti finally realizing all her mistakes and apologizing to Raghav was.

Their emotions were so wonderfully written.

I wish the makers would have also shown these three bond with each other instead of completely ruining Keerti's character.

Hope to read another piece of your wonderful writings very soon!

Thanks a lot dost. I appreciate the comments very much. It gives me boost to write more. I'll be glad if you check out my other works as well and leave your precious views.

Hello!

Sorry! I'm not active on IF on the weekends but when weekdays are hectic, I tell myself I'll reserve my comments and revisit them on the upcoming weekend. Then of course, it's insanely difficult to get a solid five minutes to pen my thoughts and reviews on a weekend, so I end up in a rut until the topic maker/author gives me a nudge. Thank you for reaching out! 🤗

I actually re-read this OS multiple times this weekend. It has inspired me to drabble something of my own that I've been meaning to write for a LONG time, but just haven't been able to put into words yet. Let's see if I ever get there!

Raghav's love for his sister is much like his love for anyone else he deems worthy. His loyalty is boundless and so, despite Keerti's faults, he was the cushion she could fall back on. I love that he didn't give her grief for what all she did, but instead made a generic statement suggesting that he knew Sunny was a b@stard all along but nobody pays heed to his words. I actually like that he kind-of-sort-of threw Pallavi under the bus too and made her share the blame for Keerti's poor decision. It speaks to his paternal instinct towards Keerti and also his faith in his wife to tolerate the blame game and still be the rock that steadies him through this wave. His comic relief was spot on, as always!

Pallavi was the PERFECT side character here. I'm about to go off on a tangent but please bear with me.

Remember in Devdas, everyone cheered for Aishwarya as the protagonist and she also scored all the awards for the same, but I was one of the odd people who felt that Madhuri trumped Aishwarya's performance. Woh kehte hain na, unnis-bees ka farq tha, but I still felt that Madhuri stole the show even though she was listed as a supporting cast, not a parallel lead.

What I'm trying to say is that Madhuri in Devdas is what Pallavi is in this story for me. She stole the show and how! 👏 The way she literally and figuratively stood by both Raghav and Keerti, that too within her boundaries, was beautiful. She could've easily overstepped and taken the lead, it comes naturally to her, but she let Raghav take the lead and she trusted that he would open his arms for Keerti in a heartbeat. Her hand on his back to steady him, her hand on Keerti's back to console her, her humour (although initiated by Raghav) - I could visualize all of it, that too with Shivangi's expressions. Pallavi struck the perfect balance as a spouse, sister-in-law, and friend here. I truly hope we see something similar pan out in the show wherein Raghav and Keerti rekindle their relationship without an external catalyst. They obviously got along at a much younger phase in their lives, so it's not like they need to start from scratch. Pallavi's push made sense when she urged Amma to give Raghav a chance, but I think she should definitely take a backseat when it comes to Keerti. Let the siblings fight it out. Let the siblings cry it out. Let the siblings figure it out as siblings always do.

Very, very well written! I can't wait to read more of your work! ❤️

Oh dear! Finally I met someone who agrees that Madhuri was better than Aish in Devdaas... I so get you. I really wanted Pallavi to just be the hand in the background.. uncharacteristic of her but understanding enough to let the siblings figure it out. Raghav as I understood him would definitely have certain paternal feelings towards Keerti and he couldn't fault his sister much any more than he could fault himself for letting her marry him.

She is the younger one here and he was supposed to be matured enough to swallow her hatred instead of trying to earn her favor by intentionally pushing her at the deep end.

Glad you liked it so much. I would love to read your analysis as well.
