A much needed one nd is well presented. I'm happy someone brought this up. Eventhough I haven't seen IK I always felt Imlie is the best remake of IK in all means especially the character arc of Aditya and the soul connection of Adilie no matter how much dramatic the track gets Aditya's character will never be compromised so is Adilie relationship it's cent precent sure. Tbh I never want Archie nd Baha kind of romantic scenes between Adilie coz their love is much beyond these very pristine and soulful. If at all they want to show their progression scenes like pd hut scene garmi sardi scenes are enough nd yes they should definitely go beyond cheek pat . In future they could convert cheek pats nd forehead kisses into passionate hugs and cheek kisses that will be more than enough coz Adilie chemistry and phenomenal acting is more than enough to add that intimacy. I must say I have never seen an Indian television couple with so much of chemistry despite having very minimal romance or cliche romance. I think no one is even close to Gashmeer and Sumbul on television till date. Everyone tried copying Srkajol but these 2 did it without any replication nd added their own touch. Tbh I would like to say thers no pair like Gashmeer and Sumbul nd let them be that nd it's better not to be compared to Srkajol as their identity overshadows Sumeer's effort nd I'm saying once again there's no couple like Adilie nd no actors or offscreen bffs like SumEer touchwood!
