You live forever Captain Vikram Batra in our hearts, your legacy lives on.

I know. Knowing that such a warm person died while serving our country is heart wrenching

There are many poor ratings in IMDb just because it has romantic storyline aa well. People forget that it's not only soldiers who sacrifice but their partners and family too. Dimple hasn't married yet and that establish the fact that her sacrifice is no less than Captain Batra's

Vikram sacrificed his life for the country while Dimple did the same for her Love.

Haven't seen and probably won't ever see it.

I can't bear sad endings and yaha toh you know it's not even fictional. I followed Captain Batra's story a few years back, all his accomplishments, the interviews from his family, twin, Dimple Cheema. Gutted me back then.

The decision to never get married that too in Indian society (which is another struggle in itself) for your lost love 💔

Can't bring myself to watch it.

Although I did see the Mann Bharya 2.0 video they released and couldn't stop my tears.

Just want to share a beautiful comment I got to read in one of the YT video comments.

कौन कहता है कि बेटा विदा नही होते जब बेटा विदा होते हैं तो भारत माँ का आंचल लाल कर जाते हैं😞😭 शहीदों को सत सत नमन 🇮🇳🇮🇳

Those who cannot read hindi:

Koun keta hai ki beta vida nahi hote, jab beta vida hote hein toh Bharat Ma ka aanchal laal kar jaate hai! 😭

I think you shouldn't not watch it. I know it's sad but along with that it's beautifully portrayed. It will make you fall in love even more with Captain Batra. These kind of movies also let us realise how much these soldiers sacrifice for our nation.

Sometimes it’s easier to die than live. Captain Naveen Nagappa is the soldier who was protected by Captain Vikram Batra. With both his legs injured, he had to just sit there helplessly watching his comrades die right in front of his eyes. If that survival guilt wasn’t enough, for the past 25 years he has been the subject of ridicule and hate just because he survived some even send him hate messages to this day.We have to remember that not just the Martyred but the ones who came back alive also deserve the same love and respect! Everything they do on the battlefield- including taking a bullet for their fellow soldier, is because of their dedication towards their duty. :(

I don't know why I opened this..This was too painful to listen, specially as I watched the movie just yesterday...

Why do wars happen! God!

Can't understand why is Kashmir so important that such tragic wars happen? I don't know which country is innocent, which is what! But, the soldiers, them having to risk their whole lives because of the inability to make peaceful confrontations by the leaders!!!

You should read the reports of torture pakistan army did on our soldiers. Fractured skulls, burnt with cigarettes, mutilated body and private party s, broken teeth, eyes gauged out.

India replied back.

I am so happy and proud to be an Indian and I can say that without being diplomatic. Pakistan didn't even accept the bodies of their own soldiers and we buried them with full procedure. That's how our country is.

There should not be shame in calling a spade, spade.

I know you are so sweet by heart but Pakistan doesn't deserve any mercy. ( Not talking about sensible innocent citizens)
