The hypocrisy over Toshu leaving & Baa's foul tongue.

Anu & probably Samar are the only characters who have acknowledge that Toshu leaving isn't world-shattering in itself. He should just do it with a smile on his face. Everyone else is acting like a son separating is the end of the world. The hypocrisy is sickening. Every daughter leaves her parents. That is considered a mere rite of passage. But a son leaving is the worst fate for parents? WTF? Baa left her parents behind to fend for themselves (considering Mama ji isn't exactly reliable for anything). Heck, Anupamaa hasn't been back to living with her mother despite getting divorced! Her mother is still doing household chores & working despite her age & messed up knees.. Even though she has a capable, earning daughter. Do daughters' parents not deserve better?

Coming to Baa.. Anu & Vanraj give Paakhi a stern warning for her insolent behaviour. But in literally the next scene she promotes Baa's badtameez insults? Sure, Bapuji & Mamaji are too old to stop joshing around. But NO ONE is too old to stop being a badtameez. She normalises that behaviour for everyone in the house, so obviously the younger ones will pick up on that. Why fault only Pakhi? Why not Baa too? Let's not forget that this woman has tortured & abused Anu for 25 years. So it's not like she merely has a sharp tongue, but a golden heart. Baa stopped torturing DILs only because Anu got divorced & Kinjal refuses to be her slave. Resistance changed her attitude. Toshu's resistance to her tongue should have been addressed, not shrugged away.

That's what I'm saying as well, if a girls parents are fine with her moving out of the family why are the guys parents so possessive of him to treat it like an unfortunate event? This is just like saying Sons are more valuable than a daughter.
