The only person who can explain that online TRP metric is the person who calculated it 😆

Essentially online TRP could be calculated in any number of ways- number of views for episode/precap, likes on FB/insta/Twitter for precaps and sneak peeks, number of tweets/posts for the show's official hashtag on social media, to name a few metrics.

But the methodology must be consistent and it must be an apples to apples comparison. Herein lies the problem- for example Sony show 8 minute recaps on their YT channel, but Star don't. Comparing data in such situations becomes difficult, and I doubt the likes of Hotstar, Voot or SonyLiv will give their internal viewing data publicly to these online sites.

In short, in the absence of a clear guideline as to how it's calculated- there's no standardised online TRP, and none of these portals will reveal how they exactly calculate.

Best to take these online TRP results with a pinch of salt.

I didn't know there was an IPL forum either, but a couple of forum friends pointed me to the game and I took part for them! The match threads weren't too bad- they finished 150 pages during a single IPL game several times in the tournament!

ITV shows in general are anathema in my social circle (primarily UMC/UC urban), and something like KKB would be even more so 😆. TBH it's just kidnapping, hospital, jail, MU/separation, leap with the odd lollipop scene thrown in- I find it hard to justify it myself! I watch only Pranbir, and that too mostly for the ML's character- Ranbir there looks like some different person altogether wrote him (not toxic, no man handling, normal dialogues, believes his wife over scheming family and genuinely loves her)

I can't really think of anything light and fun to watch which is not long term. I genrally watch SIT videos on youtube. They are short and fun especially Maid in Heaven. I also like stand up comdey short videos on youtube. I follow Gaurav Kapoor, Abhijit Ganguly (my fav), Vipul Goyal, Akash Gupta (please watch his dog video😆).

Have you watched Panchayat, Gullak and Yeh Meri Family btw?

Panchayat on Prime- needs a sub, Gullak (Sony Liv) and YMF (TVF)- both free to watch afaik.

I've watched all three, and I'd say they were pretty good. Panchayat and Gullak slightly more rural themed than urban though.
