I Dont Get People GIFs - Get the best GIF on GIPHY

@1: Lunch - 3 hands full of rice with a couple of dollops of desi ghee + a almost 2 lb of cooked veggies (like broccoli, ash gourd, bottle gourd, bitter gourd, cauliflower, cabbage) + a small bowl of yogurt/ sauerkraut/ kimchi/ good ol achar


@4PM: Ash gourd+beetroot / cucumber+apple/ Carrot+ginger juice


@ 6PM: A huge warm bowl of lentils + Spinach/kale/amaranth leaves/ arugula/broccoli in soup consistency.YUMMM!


@9-10PM: Got to bed!


NOTE: The above is my ideal schedule but most of the days I keep wandering away from it. though the good news is, I keep coming right back to it. :)

It’s an acquired habit for me after I learned the good things about them. None of my family eat them except the bitter gourd.

Okra, pumpkin, peas, carrots, beans, karela, loki, tondli, torai, capsicum. Had mushroom and peas today.


Mostly traditional Indian food.


I am a pure vegetarian too and can make myself eat almost anything vegetarian. But Mushrooms is something I struggle with. Most of the times they only manage to make it from the stores to the fridge and then eventually end up in the trash.

I always felt lethargic, unmotivated, slow/dull, sleepy after eating breakfast and lunch but Old Science(Read studies paid for by multi billion companies) told me eating breakfast was a must. So now I eat nothing all day ----> Intermittent fasting. Best thing I ever did for my Mental focus, lethargy & my health. Never felt better, mentally or physically. And I get to eat my dinner like a king.

I have issues with mushrooms too, unless it’s creamy mushroom pasta sauce. But then again, I still won’t eat the actual mushrooms. I think the word “fungus” turned me off and I just can’t stop visualising infected toenails whenever I think of a mushroom. Why am I the way that I am? 🙂

Yep. IF for the win! Totally agree with you. My window is 12-6 PM and it works so well for me, keeping me most active and energetic throughout the day.
