1st he rejected Kalindi (but why? I skipped that episode.. So don't know the proper reason).. Then society made her stone hearted & regressive..

Yes.. He's the root cause.. Still we can't ignore him just like BV's dadisaa.. Coz he's not pure white or black.. He's grey.. Sometimes we love him, sometimes hate him.. But can't ignore him like we do in case of Chudail/sumati/Som..

He rejected her for some stupid reason 😆 I don't remember the exact details but I had seen it, wo apne mariyaada langi aisa kuch tha... she kinda didn't think about society and went after him or something along those lines. Isliye this guy dumped her because his family didn't like it and society didn't agree.

She was taunted and humiliated by the society post that, thus the regressive mentality she has about women being lower than men.

He has ALWAYS been very cruel to everyone except his own family, Bondita got saved from his cruelty later on because she managed to make a place in the heart of everyone in that household and also, she was the adarshwadi bahu he wanted and dreamed of for Anirudh, she was the only one who could keep Ani's fitoor in control.

Agar aaj ki Bondita isko milti as Bahu, Pakka likhe le lo he would be against her because she would not listen to everything he tells her! Wo SR wala patti jo padhaya isne preleap would not work on post leap Bondita 😆 I remember how fiercely she told off CC's mother for interfering in their relationship and I can completely imagine this elder Bondita telling Trilochan off in the future.

She has all the right values and morals still but she is no longer blinded nor pressurized by the eyes of society like she used to be preleap.

That is a good comparison. Yes, he does remind me of BV's dadisaa... He has the potential to become a character like her but they have to show that transformation properly. He is too regressive and patriarchal, he needs to change for us to accept him and realize his wrongs like BV's dadisaa did. She became the most ardent supporter of Anandi once she realized what she was doing is wrong and she put her above her own family at times.

Dekhte hai TRC kya karega 😆

Hahaha... Sumati toh phele se hi helpless hi rahi hai yaar, usse toh kab ka umeed chhod diya tha maine. She is a perfect depiction of weak woman who have no agency of their own during those times, she gave up every right the day her husband died and accepts every thing thrown at her without complaint, she has nothing of her except Bondita but usko bhi bali chhada degi because she cannot even defend her properly.

It's just SO surprising that her child is someone like Bondita. I'm guessing Bondita went after her father because I see nothing of Sumati in her.
