i think harry was not expelled because he was practising not actually doing this to someone.and in order of pheonix and prisoner of azkaban he did magic in front of muggles.hermione just did a simple spell which will make the objects repair.i think they can use that spell.dont be too serious about the movies.we are just watching it.its not real.let them do whatever they want.

i agree with dilsha hary did the lumos spell in the absence f a muggle while in the case of the patroonus charm he did it when big d ws there n for tht he almost expelled

i mean that may be he have to practise the spell.so he was doing it.

this wasn't mentioned in the book... the movie makers threw that in and it's wrong... even in chamber of secrets movie... when the weasleys harry and hermione are shopping in diagon alley hermione repairs harry's glasses using "Reparo" they weren't at school yet so hermione should also have been expelled...

but hermione was in diagon alley nd no muggles are found there

so everyone there knew how to do spells :-D

Oh yeah! and i just learned something very important!!!!

when hermione comes to ron and harry in their compartment for the very first time in book one,she asks ron"Are you sure thats a real spell? i have tried some spells and they have all worked for me!"

SHE WASNT EVEN SORTED,or a QUALIFIED WITCH!

how can she even manage to make spells without being caught?😃
