And this ... that era for music is amazing... i actually enjoyed this movie ... i actually find most Priyadarshan movies quite entertaining...
By the way, Esprit, this is actually one of my all time favorite BW songs❤️ No matter the time, place, people, it usually lightens up my mood Totally agree with you--movies and especially music around this time were really good. It was when music artists didn't generally pass off "remixes" and "remakes" as music numbers in movies. Like, even if some of these were Hindi rendition of South Indian songs, they tried to do justice with it. Sigh.
I like this one as well:
Everybody's feelings atm

I remember watching this movie with my family (Doli Saja ke Rakhna) with no expectations and I ended up loving it for the simplicity of it all, along with the calming music of AR Rahman - my parents related to their love story 😉 and it became their fav.
Yes you guys had the timing correct 😉... i needed to get stuff done for my office work after lunch hehehee ... Abhi tak i am working on that report from the wilderness visit lol.
Also I hope all had fun eating Chaat etc today 😆
Today i had chocolate fudge cake for snack ☺️

Aww that is so sweet I and my family liked the movie too. It was a very simple love story but I think very relatable as well, at least in 90s standards. A R Rahman's music is so soothing man❤️

I love all songs in this movie...do you know the sad part, hero of this movie committed suicide
the story was similar to SSR, his girl friend was suspected but later released due to no evidence

Yeah I read about it too. He was so young, and I remember being surprised because back then I think the industry didn't have as many untimely deaths as now.
This was also one of its kind around then, with online chats being introduced in the desi arena and internet wala love starting to be a thing. I remember many parents finding it bold and objectionable too because of this.
