Likely! 🤣 So I don't mind if it's weaved in a story or has some mature content, but if it's full tharki/erotica, I don't read it. It just makes me uncomfortable. It's because I visualize the stories I read and feel like I am invading someone's privacy. Aggressive Characters also make me uncomfortable with what I have seen in real life around me.

But I know this forum has opened up a lot lately in terms of mature content that's written. So I may have opened up a little more later. And I'd just skip that part if I think it's too much for me.

I was talking to my roommate the other day (the one who suggested I write a mature scene, something I haven't really done before), and she was telling me her favorite tropes in mature fics. Like you, I get immediately turned off when there is any sort of name calling or aggression in the fic... it's just not for me, and I typically skip those scenes to read the rest of the story.

However, my favorite mature fics are fics that focus on the build up (making sure the partner has a big smile, they are comfortable, and they are eager). There's always something sweet when I read about a guy and girl making sure they are both comfortable before really starting. Also, knowing there is mutual consent is always a plus point for me!
