Agree. Bapuji overdoes the baap-beti rishta too much sometimes. Give her a share in his property etc is fine. But please let her cut the cord. For someone as sensitive and supportive as Bapuji has been shown, I was surprised to see him holding her back and insisting that she stays in the same house. I understand that to maintain the drama quotient this was necessary but she could have rented a place in the neighborhood and it would have worked just as well.
I liked how that story moved up till that point. After that.....
I am hoping that the story forward is along the lines of how she builds a life & identity of her own in a male dominated society. A parallel story on how the Shah household manages without her. First, she needs to get out of this place.
I want a story that projects women strong despite being opressed. Coming out of the oppression, turning around their lives against all odds, breaking societal norms etc. Just one soap without a lot of drama😊
